@djezhel619: Haha you Nintendo fanboys are the best. You get so riled up if anyone doesn't like your precious games.

I don't enjoy most Pixar films either so that's some reference for how much I like media aimed at kids. If you like it, that's fine but so far I'm finding pretty difficult to see why it got all the praise it did, including GOTY on this site. The kind of people who can get in touch with their inner child & imagine this is their first big open world game obviously find something fun here but enjoyed AC: Origins more & that's not an amazing game either.

I picked up Wildlands to play co-op with a group of friends, playing solo isn't great but it's still better more gripping than Zelda. That's the point I'm trying to make.

@gamerboy100: It's more like an eating disorder. Eating is not a disorder in itself but when done in an unhealthy way like overeating or anorexia, it can be treated as a medical condition. That said, "gaming disorder" isn't a great name for it.

Just got out of the tutorial area in BoTW, so far it's pretty meh. I would probably love the game if I was 10 but right now I think I'd rather go back to playing Ghost Recon Wildlands than Zelda.

@rawkstar007: If you enjoyed the world, check out Shadowrun. This is a pretty cool series to watch if you want to check out some tabletop roleplay (yes, it's super long - throw it in a second monitor or minimise while you're doing other stuff). Or there's a game on Steam if you're into turn-based CRPGs.

It's funny watching Max Landis or cast members trying to sell this idea to people, "it's like Training Day meets Lord of the Rings". I'm like, "oh, Shadow Run without the cyberpunk stuff, OK".

I watched this a couple of nights ago, I don't know that I loved it but it would be interesting to see more of this world. Films written by Landis are often pretty controversial, he has an interesting way of using cliches & then subverting them that rubs some people the wrong way. It's great that the Netflix platform gives stories like this another chance.

@jumalan75: I went with subtitles, the dubbing is pretty bad.

@StonerDemon: The trend here seems to be a number based on how "fun" the game is rather than taking all these aspects into account. It's like they want their score to still be relevant in future as they assume a game will fix it's technical problems.

I think it's more reason to ditch numbered scores entirely. Give people all the information & let them decide for themselves what it's worth.

@dirthurts: HDR doesn't mean anything without the panel to support it either.

Unfortunately HDMI 2.1 TVs won't be coming for a few months yet. I still wouldn't buy a 4K TV without it.

If you're a gamer, I'd say don't buy a TV without HDMI 2.1. More throughput, support for variable refresh rate & high refresh rates... it's kind of a biggie.
