Ever since Sony decided to include trophies in their library of games, I've felt an uncontrollable hunger for increase in my trophy stats. It's come to the point where if the the game doesn't have trophies i'll tell myself that I don't really need the game and that i probably should buy some other game that will supply my needs. What really bothers me about this is that if i take a stroll down memory lane, and look back at all the games I've played on older consoles, I can't get a grip on why I even bothered to finish the games I bought. Unless the gameplay was revolutionary of the graphics were almost photo realistic for their time, you'd be left with a screen at the end which says: "The End" which for me clearly translates into: " The End, you have no life, buy a new game".

But hey, I like having a carrot on a stick in front of me. In some cases the trophies may cause you to discover new aspects and challenges in the games with trophies. But still it derives people to go hunting for the 200 flying rats in Liberty City instead of going out drinking with their friends (I never did that, I swear :roll: )

For my precious hours sake I hope Sony does something so that I can make use of the trophies I've earned, so I can clean my conscience and keep collecting trophies.
