Notquitesure........EXACTLY. Also i posted the last blurb before checking the rest of the games comparisons (oops) and some seem to confirm perfectly. When the developer takes there time with PS3, the dark tones come out richer and more realistic. Owning both I would say kudos to microsoft AND sony. Both are wonderful next gen systems.
ummmm.....ok. First of all, from a 360 and PS3 owner, something is wrong with these comparisons. I'm not saying this is the case, but its almost as if they have labeled them wrong because from experience the PS3 has richer and deeper dark tones than the 360, which is also confirmed by the developers of Dark Sector. Compare THOSE screens and its opposite from these. It almost looks as if the brightness is turned up to high on the PS3 shots. I love both systems, find advantages and disadvantages to each of them. The only real difference I've seen is on the end of the software developers. The hottest looking games are the EXCLUSIVE titles for each system........Gears of War, Bioshock, Mass Effect, and then Uncharted, Motorstorm, Ratchet and Clank, etc. When the developer makes a game for multiple consoles, they have to create with the lowest common denominator in mind, therefore not using the unique potential of the individual system. Unless of course they develop first for a system, then do sloppy ports........ahem Electronic Arts. In short, both systems are fantastic and using screen comparisons like this dont actually say jack SH#$ about the true quality of the consoles. Just my humble opinion.
