goddam why are games so annoying? anyway, i tried to uninstall bf2142 because i got a new faster harddrive and i'm migrating everything onto that, its not like i'm solving world hunger here. so i click uninstall and what does the highly intelligent thing do? it just removes its name from my installed programs thingy but leaves the whole game on my harddrive. so after a bit of faffing i found the only way to get rid of it was to simply find and murder each and every trace of the goddam thing. even went through the whole registry and killed off its great grand parents.

but lowe and behold, bf2142 raises a greasy claw and digs it into both my eyeballs - when i tried to reinstall it on my new drive, the installer just drops out like its done that everyday of its punkbuster crashy days, the humanity! so now i can't play it at all, not even on bank holidays or my birthday no doubt. tell me i'm not the only one being bullied by this games install/uninstall idiocy?

and yes i deleted everything... no traces

but yet they haunt me... i just know it wants me to reinstall windows, its evil like that. any help or comments would make my day, really :)
