So I finished playing through Infamous about a week and a half ago. To me, it was an above average game but not as good as everyone keeps saying. The game's mechanics kind of suck, because whenever Cole would jumpe forward for me, he would grab something to the left or right, which angered me on many occassions, especially missions. I did like the destruction and the use of the powers, especially with it being electrical. I thought some of the main story missions were a bit above wht the game was about; they just didn't make sense half the time. I also found that some of the story missions were thougher than the final battle, which was pretty easy. I also keep hearing people saying that how this ended, they don't see how there can be a second one, but I disagree. If they make the mechanics better, I just may want to play the second one.
