[QUOTE="beatzfreak69"][QUOTE="Sihanouk"][QUOTE="scottiescott238"]Another joke thread? the ps3 is more hardcore for games than the 360? you really tell yourself this?
also the 360 has struck the casual market waay better than thr ps3, casuals dont spend 299.99 on a console when they can get a better one for 159.99

Without a doubt the PS3 is more hard-core and Microsoft and Epic knows this. Microsoft and Epic aren't even competing in the biggest-most-advanced games department. Epic admitted it as much. Hard-core gamers prefer the biggest and most advancedg games. If a hardcore game can only have one console now: they will more like choose the PS3 over the 360. Why? The big mulitplatform games actually look or play better on the PS3! Examples: Oblivion, Devil May Cry4, Burn-out Paradise, Unreal Tournament 3, Grand Theft Auto 4 (See IGN and and scores on Gamerankings.co), Soul Calibur 4, and in a few months Bioshock and Eternal Sonata.
Upcoming games in 2008 and 2009 favor the PS3. Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, SOCOM: Confrontation, Motorstorm2, Heavy Rain, Killzone 2, Gran Tourismo 5, Final Fantasy 13 (which should be better on the PS3), Final Fantasy 13 Versus, Infamous, MAG, etc. The thing to keep in mind is that future games will favor the PS3 because th PS3 is the most powerful, future-proof console on the market.
As for the casuals, they are not all poor. If they can afford an HD-TV, they can afford the PS3. Most of these gaming casuals probably already own a PS2. It's only natural they they upgrade to the PS3, especially as Sony makes it easy for them, like making PS3 Singstar accept PS2 Singstar's songs. Don't forget that Sony will continue to make PS3 versions of the PS2's big exclusives.
Sony is also smart enough to keep selling the PS2 and PSP to keep the casuals within the Playstation family.
Oblivion came out how much later on the PS3?...and Bioshock?... Other than that it's your "opinion." Try to remember that. ;)
Sure, the games came out later on the PS3. But they are also improved over the 360 versions. It's a fact. As such, if a gamer wants to play Oblivion or Bioshock, the PS3 versions are the one to get. It's obvious.
They're improved because they took a year to improve them...how dense can you be?
