I have lost all interest in this franchise. I can't wait to see what Respawn Entertainment comes up with to make Bobby K. regret the day he screwed over Infinity Ward.
I think alot of the artistic alure was lost in the transition between the two games. The enviroments in Gears 1 were much darker, and as a result of that it conveyed a feeling of desperation and urgency. Much of that was lost in Gears 2, which the underlying emotion is optimisim if anything. I would even say that the visual quality is poorer than the first Gears too (that might just be me though.)
