i am having trouble setting up my xbox to play on 720 and 1080 resolutions i am currently using the 32" lcd hdtv cable of 1080 resolutions and the component cable suplied with the console which only works on 480 resolution. when i switch to 720 or 1080 resolutions i get a picture but it continually rolls off and on the screen. would a vga or hdmi cable help this or am i wasting my money.

hello.

i have tried to get my xbox to work on 720 and 1080 resolution on my hd tv but it will only work on 480. on the 720 resolution setting i get a picture but it slowly scrolls down the screen. on the 1080 i have the same promblem but it scrolls faster. i am using the standard hd av cable which comes which the xbox switched to hd setting. any help would be greatly recieved.
