I like point and click adventures or puzzlers! Like Myst, Deponia, Machinarium, and so on. I enjoy the slower pace of it.

I have, and I like to sometimes. There are games where I like the story, but can't play through the games myself either because of money issues or because I can't play horror games. Like FNAF, Some of the Silent Hill games, or if I'm just looking for games I haven't heard of before and am curious.
Have you played the other "Tales of" games? Like Abyss or Graces? They have similar battle systems. Star Ocean also has a similar battle system--I would recommend The first Star Ocean, or Second Story.
After resetting did you connect it to the ps4 again with the USB cable and turn it on? That usually works for me. If not, I found this page that offers some other suggestions: Here
Hope that helps.
I agree with you. I'm too much of a baby when it comes to horror games to PLAY, but I actually love watching others play. I think the horror is part of the appeal though! The adrenaline rush and so forth. Luckily for me my husband loves horror games so he can play and I can just watch, lol.
Broken Age was a great game! I really enjoyed it. The Deponia series is great too. Really funny and interesting, but be prepared to be frustrated as the puzzles can be a little aggravating.
I recently finished LIMBO and it was fun. I'd also reccomend Inside, Never Alone, The Swapper, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. I haven't gotten to play it yet, but I heard Gravity Rush was good too.
I got really excited when Nintendo announce that Breath of Fire 1&2 were coming to the 3DS in the store and it made me really want to replay them. Then I found out that it only works with the New 3DS systems, and I only have the older 3DS XL.
My daughter has been playing a lot of the older Kirby games on her Wii through the virtual console, those are always good fun :D
