Street Fighter 4
Development has just begun and the release of the game is more than a year away. No platforms are yet confirmed - a highly stylised animated concept trailer of Ryu and Ken fighting was shown, but no game footage.

Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice
A new character and new series starring a rookie lawyer. Phoenix Wright makes an appearance but is not the lead character. Made specifically for DS.

Lost Planet (PS3)
Avaialable early next year and will include all bonus characters from the PC version and extra downloadable content from the 360 version making it the complete package. Made possible with Blu-ray. 16 player online over the PSN.

Dark Void
A new sci-fi action-adventure IP. Trailer showed third-person and air-vehicle gameplay with a character wearing a steam punk jetpack, skydiving and landing in the cockpit of a gyroscopic aircraft, and then jumping and climbing through airbase fortesses.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD(Xbox Live Arcade)
The game will feature a spectator mode and is scheduled for a 2008 while the team try and get zero lag for the online mode. Also features stat tracking and widescreen. Original music from Street Fighter 2 will be used, plus remixed versions of all those tunes.

Wii Love Golf
From the Everybody's Golf team comes a cutesy golf sim, that looks slightly more technical than the PlayStation versions. Players can fade or draw the ball by twisting the Wii-mote when taking a swing.

We'll have more from our man in London later.

Seeing as ps2 in the usa sold about the same as Xbox+Gamecube combined everywhere, its the us as if you win there your console still is sucesful even if it flops everywhere else.

Also Europe is NOT a Country!

FYI for those mentioning the absence of customizable soundtracks. Granted they are missing but it isn't the ps3's fault. It supports such designs in games, but if developers don't put them in their games then they won't be on the system.

Insane00

Actually, yeah it is. Any monkey can make a console where devs can implement custom soundtrack themselves... you just need a special folder for music and allow games to access it. The 360 has a rather elegant implementation, where you can manage custom soundtracks at the system level if you wish, which will mute the music track of the game. Devs can from there onwards do special stuff if they wish (like Def Jam and the rythm, or GTA used to do on the xbox, where you could use the radio to play custom soundtracks).

It's a failing of the PS3 console.

Agreed 100%.

The PS3 having no custom soundtracks right now iscompletely Sony's fault. Saying otherwise proves you have no clue about this topic.

Los, simply put, your an @$$. I never want to hear from you again.

Grive, thanksfor the info. I posted this because I read a press release from Sony concerning the implementation of of customizable sound tracks. It made sense to me cause as a general rule I can't play whatever music I want on my computer while playing a game, one will override the other so I always thought implementing music saved on the system was part of the code in the games. I don't write code, I'm not an electrical engineer and I never, ever want to work on the numbers side of computers/gaming so excuse the ignorance. If it is possible for Sony to implement a system in their OS that makes it so that every game has customizable soundtracks (and it sounds like it is if the X-Box has it) they need to implement such a system to stay competitive.

er you can play what music you what on your computer while playing a game, to stop it clashing, goto a menu and turn the games music off.

[QUOTE="proud722"]In my opinion crackdown is on par with gears of war and I would like to see you prove me wrong. chubear700

There you have it. I rest my case. See you all the PS3s PSN later on this year or next. As you all know, pretty much when all of you that can afford a PS3 (be it now or 4 years from now) you will be getting the very console you dissed as the two faced critics you all are. The 360 is cheaper than the PS3, and will always be, but I have enough sense not to fall for their crap and waste $400 on a piece of hardware designed solely to sucker as much money from gamers as possible for mediocre crap. Supporting the 360 is stupidity and by next gen you'll see what I mean.

Good bye SW people I won't be back;it's been a blast but I must go wash this slim from this forum off, it wrecks. Oh, if you can keep, "trying" to come up with lame answers to the questions. You'll find you really did back the wrong console and your $400 investment is pretty much toilet paper.Coming up with a list of GeOW type experiences shouldn't be this hard for a 20 month old system should it?

Running away without awnsering our points?

Goodbye COWard you wont be missed.

't mean they weren't great.

2) List seven (7) released exclusive games that are on par with GeOW. Which should be easy for a 20 month old system.

So there you have it, my first SW post - BRING IT!

chubear700

Gears scored a 9.6.

You expect 7 exclusive games better thant a 9.6 or equal! The Ps2 only has two and thats been out for 5 years.

The wii and psp, ps3 have none, the gamecube has 1 and the xbox 1 has none.

Even the pc does not have a exculsive 9.6 or above game and you expect the 360 to have 7?

Set your expectations lower.

Welcome to the Develop Conference & Expo in the UK! They've just announced their nominations for the Develop Industry Excellence Awards, and while there were nominations for all sorts of games and platforms, Microsoft stood tall and took pride in getting enough nominations with 360 software that we at 360 Fanboy have to feel a sense of pride for the company whose product is our namesake. We'll let you know where Microsoft and its studios got the nod below.

  • For Creativity, Viva Pinata (Rare) and Crackdown (Realtime Worlds) got a nomination.
  • For Visual Arts, both Rare (Viva Pinata) and Realtime Worlds (Crackdown) got nominations.
  • Microsoft itself got nominated for being a "Publishing Hero" which we will assume means they have some kind of special power of publishing. Heroes are cool.
  • Realtime Worlds (Crackdown) got mentioned for being among the best in the use of online capabilities.
  • S Realtime Worlds (Crackdown) got a mention for innovation, as well.

So, good job, Microsoft! Seems you've got a knack for making fun, innovative, and creative shooting games. And Viva Pinata games that get universally good reviews by critics, enjoyed by all. With these credentials tucked under their belt, will Microsoft have an equally praised performance at E3 next month? We'll have to wait and see, but don't be surprised if some new games show up as winners in categories much like these.

Two can play at this game.
