It's been a while since I've updated my blog now. In the past few months I picked up Mortal Kombat: Deception, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and Super Monkey Ball 2. And for my GBA I picked up Chu Chu Rocket, Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, Golden Sun, Gunstar Super Heroes, and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. I finally managed to beat Metroid Prime a while back and recently got the alternate ending in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I also managed to clear Tales of Symphonia before Christmas. In other news I sold Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell because it sucked and I'm going to be buying Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones soon. My friends and I were playing Battlefield 2 a lot during January but we stopped because my friend couldn't pay his broadband bill any more. I sold my used copies of StarFox Adventures and Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader because they weren't up to collection quality standards but I bought a sealed copy of StarFox Adventures after that. I'm going to try and get my hands on Cubivore and Skies of Arcadia Legends soon before they get any harder to find. Also looking at getting Beach Spikers. My other friend and I have been playing a lot of Super Spike VolleyBall lately. We finally managed to beat the game. Well, gotta get back to adjusting the sharpness on my television (I never new it made such a big difference).

Over the summer I hadn't been playing my GameCube a whole lot but I finally got started back up again. Now I'm working towards beating every GameCube game I own. I beat Viewtiful Joe like a month and a half ago, for the first time and on adult mode. A few weeks ago I started binging on Metroid Prime and now all I have to do is beat the final boss. Somewhere in between all that I beat Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. That's a short game though and neither it nor the original are very hard. Now I'm going back through Prince of Persia: Warrior Within in order to get the alternate ending. I've also been playing Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell on and off but right now I'm mainly trying to make my way through Tales of Symphonia. I'm about seven and a half hours right now. I had to get a new memory card because my 128 megabit one got messed up. So I bought an Official Nintendo 251 card. I also finally got the cash to get myself a better GBA. I traded in my original Glacier GBA and bought a new backlit GBA SP Graphite. The screen is extremely bright. If you want to get into GBA games I highly recommend picking up one. A while back I purchased StarFox Adventures and Rogue Squadron II from Gamestop. I've got to get back to playing them sometime. Last week I bought Baten Kaitos and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for my GameCube and Pokemon Ruby for my GBA. Those will arrive sometime this week. On October 1st, 2005 my friends and I had an X-Box LAN party. For the most part we just played Halo 2 the whole time. I stayed awake for fourty-three hours. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones looks like it's shaping up to be best game this holiday season, but I don't know yet because I played the King Kong demo for PC today and man, is it awesome! I think I'll have to get that for my Cube as well.
A return to handheld gaming

I've been busy playing a lot of Battlefield 2 lately with my friends, but in the down time I've started pushing my way through Viewtiful Joe. I'm also retreading my steps through Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell because whenever I save that game on my big memory card the file gets corrupted so I have to use my stock Nintendo card. I've also began working on Breath of Fire II as well. I've got thirty dollars in store credit at GameStop that I can't figure out what I should do with it. I want to buy Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodi and Golden Sun for my GBA but I don't much like to play my GBA as it's the first design without a lit screen. So then I'm thinking about getting a little more cash and buying a GBA player for my GameCube but then I won't have the new games to play on it. And then my last option is to buy some GameCube games like StarFox Adventures and Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance or The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Master Quest. Hopefully I'll get it all figured out.
All the space I'll ever need

Just received my 128-megabit GameCube memory card the other day. With that in place I've finally started playing Tales of Symphonia and it's awesome. I also got back to playing Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I beat Kaileena and now I'm running around with a broken sword. I'm amazed how difficult it gets after your sword breaks. You either have to find another weapon, throw the enemy off a ledge, or strangle them to death. It's great. Despite the minor glitches, I love that game. I beat Resident Evil 4 about four days ago. That was really cool, but the fight against Saddler was easy. I need to get a new subscription to a gaming magazine. I've also been playing Viewtiful Joe on and off. I'm getting close to finally beating Episode 2, that game is so damn hard (I don't play on Kid Mode). I was planning on pre-ordering The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess but I watched the Prince of Persia 3 trailer the other day and nearly soiled myself. So I think I'm going to pre-order that instead. Also thinking of pre-ordering the Mega Man X Collection. I'll probably get Twilight Princess for Christmas.
F-Zero GX and Tales of Symphonia

Just got F-Zero GX and Tales of Symphonia today. F-Zero GX isn't as difficult as a lot of people say it is. Tales of Symphonia is awesome as everyone knows. I can't really play much though because my memory card is full. I purchased a new one. It's a 128MB card but it'll be a week or two before it arrives.
Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes and Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life

Went to GameStop last night and traded in eight GameCube games that just weren't up to par. Got forty-seven dollars in store credit and bought Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes and Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life. They're both awesome games but I can't really play them right now because my memory card is full and I have to buy a new one. I've got to go back to GameStop sometime soon and reserve my copy of The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go whip a CPU-Level 9 Captain Falcon in Super Smash Bros Melee.
Just got Resident Evil 4

Well, I received Resident Evil 4 on Monday and it's definitely game of the year so far ( The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess will probably take that award ). Anyway, the game is really awesome. If you have a GameCube you need to pick up this game. I already logged seven hours of playtime on the first day and the boss fight with the village chief is absolutely amazing.
