FFX had a pretty lame story. About as lame as the last two Matrix movies. The plot 'twists' were rather ill-concieved, and the villian of the whole thing? Please.RahnAetas

God you're so right

All FF's since IV (XI and X-2 excepted) are  better than X. God watching two teens falling in love with each other was so boring. There wasn't even a proper vilain to compensate.

there were hundreds of people at the event. Though only 50 of them purchase the machine. The others were there to see the movie.

It's obvious by now that the Euro PS3 launch is hilarious. In the UK, gamers that were tired of standing could relax on those remarquable chairs...I strongly suggest you check out the site...http://www.shkyw.org

they didn't sell anywhere close to that -- by all accounts the Euro launch was a failure. just give it a few days until the real analysis pops up.

personally I find it incredibly hard to believe EU sold 500,000 when only 100 people lined up at the largest retailer in the UK, and less than 200 at the Paris event, and even if you add in Australia apparently only 40-50 showed and only 10,000 were preordered.

dunno, i think its pretty pathetic personally.

Actually only 50 people came to the Paris event. The other 150 people were just there to see the Blu-ray movie that was projected. 50 sold out of a 1000 available for the launch event isn't even slighty better than pathetic...

[QUOTE="KoreanX"]

[QUOTE="-Ramirez-"]How many of you in here have actually played both games? Surely you can see how their stories are similar? :|
-Ramirez-

Why does it matter? Personally, it has no ramifictations to if a game is enjoyable or not. Final Fantasy XII has kickass characters to tell the story (Even if half of them serve no point in the plot)

Urgh... I thought the characters were pretty boring personally bar Balthier. What sucks is that FFX had an amazing story and characters but average gameplay, then XII finally brings in some good gameplay and the storyline and characters suck.

Final Fantasy X had the most boring storyline ever. The whole thing didn't make any sense.

PS3 isnt out in the UK yet. And its broken pre-order records there so I doubt there will be many on shelves.MGS9150
I'm not quite sure that a 60 million people country will make a big difference in the console wars. In the rest of Europe, pre-orders aren't doing that well.

Saturn came out for 400$ while Sony's playstation was available for 100 bucks less. Machine was a nightmare to program for at first which led to low number of games available in the first year. Funny how history repeats itslef...

Europe?

Dreams-Visions

For info, poverty is more wide spread in the United States.

This exclude from Europe the newer member states (they can't really buy anything without western funding)
