How come the PS3 is dead last in the system wars but the most wanted item for christmas. I have my PS3 and I really enjoy it. They are doing everything they can for you to know nothing about how good uncharted (PS3 exclusive) is. First they did not even make a video review, even if they know it's a very important andinternationally aclaimed game for the PS3. Second they removed earlythe scrolling ads of the written review from all the pages, way before they others that were OLDER !!!! It's soooooooo hilarious some people still think gamespot is not biased. Microsoft is a CNET partner, CNET owns gamespot, gamespot bashes the PS3. The gamingindustry does not agree the gamespot reviews about the PS3. Look at gamerankings.comcramoisi

All system sales tell us is who is dominant in the market and generally this should only be a concern to the company. Sure good system sales could mean money for exclusives but other than that no reason. The only gamers that argue over sales are fanboys.

Things that should be focused on are good customer care and developers looking out for there fans interests.

A good example of this is microsoft. Im gonna go a length to say their trying their best on the console side of things but on the PC side of things where windows is blatantly the dominant OS: Even being the market leader do sales really matter that much when people seem to resent you and almost seem unified against you due to (apparently I would'nt say I'd know) terrible customer care and the monopoly of the market really is'nt helping their case.

If sales is all that matters then MICROSOFT PWNS! (yes and nintendo on the console side of things) but if good customer care and developers looking out for there fans interests is what matters lets change the focus of the argument then hey?

Tell this to people who owned a Gamecube or a Dreamcast. Both were good systems, but how much better would either have been had they sold more and had more third party support and more games made for them.

Developers are in the business to make money first and foremost, and sales = money.

Crysis comes onto the scene and absolutely brings all rigs down to their knees. I remember back in the day the bar was 60 for Doom3. I guess I was right, my 8800GTS640mb isnt gonna get me very High settings that the developer promised.

I havent played Bleach, but I own MLB Power Pros and its a great game. It has a ton of different modes, and is very very deep.

I agree though, GS seems to be slow with the Wii reviews. IGN had their review of MLB Power Pros up over a week ago now.

I was just at a GameStop recently, and not only did they have Nintendo Wiis, they even had used ones for $20 less.

This was a GameStop in a fairly high-traffic metropolitan area, too. I don't understand why this perception of a "shortage" of Wiis continues. Maybe it's just in certain areas?

Casuals aren't buying the 360 in huge quanties. most are going to the wii, if the ps3 goes to 400 they may buy that. If you think that casuals are going to buy a $400 PS3 your out to lunch. Casuals don't buy $400 consoles. This has been proven time and time again. That price point is simply too high. The majority of people walking into the electronics section in Walmart looking for a gaming console for little timmy are not going to spend $400. They also arent going to give a hoot about blu-ray, or even know what blu-ray is for the most part.

Would it stretch the image horizontally? Or would it just leave the left and right sides blank?

Depends entirely on the game your playing. Some games support wide screen..some games have black bars on either side
