It has been some time...

-I'm a computer gamer now... Not like I havn't always been but now I don't own a PS3 or XBOX, I've converted over to Bill Gates pride and joy. Yes, I'm a Windows 7 fan. I love it; as good as Windows 98 I believe. And games play faster on it. :)

-Almost done with college... hopefully just 1 more semester.. we shall see. It's strange, I say that while deciding whether or not a masters is in order. ha.

-Well just wanted to update the Gamespot community.

-Current games being played: Dragon Age: Origins, Borderlands, and Torchlight.

Don't know how I feel about DA:O yet, got a 9.5 here but I'm having a hard time seeing it... HUGE GAME though, maybe it will pick up its pace.

Borderlands is freakin tight... LAN is so much fun.

Torchlight was a random pick for me.. and I'm enjoying this Diablo feeling RPG. Good stuff, check it out!

Wii is dissapointing...

Maybe it's because it hasn't been out that long- maybe it's becauseNintendo strives on being different- but is it so wrong to ask for a game that was specifaclly designed to show the Wii's rawoperating power? So far,we've done well to see GameCube copies being punched into the Wii. I would love to see a game that truely shows the Wii's potential- whatever that might be. The console has an ATI Holywood for crying out loud... i'd be a rabbits rearend if someone don't by caesar relay this info to mr. Japan himself. If nothing else, atleast enable an MMORPG besides Pokemon! OK.... I'm done ranting and rambaling.

Hello

Wow I'm sunburned, well, that sure was random. ok lets see here, well, I can't wait to get to level 6 so I can try and start my own union. boy the times I'll have doing that. yea, ..... anyway.... umm, just kinda sitting around on the computer waiting for my level to raise. You know if you watch it close enough you can actually see it move!, kinda like the little hand on a clock. try it sometime. games are fun to play, thats why they are called games. peace out.

The Three Greats

It's kind of sad in a way. Whats it been now, 4?, 5 years? Yes, I'm talking about the three top dogs in the gaming realm, PS2, XBOX and the GC. There time with us will soon be over. Boys and girls in the year 2006 things will change. The 360 will consume shelves worldwide, and the PS3 will dominate all gaming stores. And not too long after that the Revolution will be showing up marking yet another point in Nintendo's extensive, gameing history. But think about all the money you've spent on all your favorite games! I mean I'm hitting nearly $800 just on PS2 games alone! Not including the PS2 and all the many accersoires that you can purchace. People of the gaming world, get ready to spend some mula again.

At this point, I want you to rid yourself of your proud grasp you have on your fav. gaming console. Whatever it may be. Whether your a Hardcore Nintendo fan, a proud member of the Playstation Union or a guy who took a chance with the newest big dog, the XBOX.... throw all of that away. Because holding on to your all time fav. gaming console at this moment in life is pointless. You see, the world of gaming is changing, once again. And with that change means a time for you to choose your side, once again. I'll admit these past 5 years I've been a PS2 fanatic all the way, I'd go down with them to the end. But thats the past and gamers, were entering the future.

What will your weapon be next year? 2006 is a great year for me, I'll be graduating, I'm going to start fresh, and choose my side wisely. No matter what anyone ever tells you, you can't be on all sides. Your either Nintendo or your not. Sony, or Microsoft. Yes, you can own all consoles, but you will find you automatically take a side.

Of the Three Greats, what will you be in 2006?

Top 10 games no Ps2 fan should be without...

Heres a list of games and a short explenation of why I believe that these 10 games should be for all hardcore PS2 players.

1. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty or MGS3: Snake Eater: This game is just unique by itself. I don't think anyone who owns a Playstation 1 or 2 doesn't know what MGS stands for. It's a great, in my openion, the greatest series of stealth, action, espionage, adventure-fighting-combat game avaliable for the PS2. No one should be without it, although the M rating might keep some from buying it. A must buy for anyone who can over -look a little M.

2. Soul Calibur II or III(coming soon): Wow, I'm sorry Tekken fans, but SCII blows all of yall out of the water. The graphics and game physics are truely state of the art and the voice overs are incredible! This is what I would consider a straight button mashing, mellee kicking, full sword contact slicing, 3D fighting match based game. Ladies and Gents, it doesn't get any better then this right here. If you don't own this game, then why not?

3. Gran Turismo 3 or 4: Don't get me wrong, I love some arcade style NFS: Underground 2 racing just as much as the next Gran theft auto lover, but there is a time and place for realisim... this is your stop. GT3 or 4 offers the most precise, accurately depicted car franchice the world has to offer on a PS2 atleast. The third installment to the series I believe offters over 600 drivable cars. You can tune, sell, trade, customize and test your cars as well as race them in this game. Don't be a fool, buy GT4.

4. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas: Possibly one of the most addicting, exciting, compelling, action relentless games I've ever played. One word and one word only, mind the M please, because it totally deserves every last inch of it. Not for children. (mostly language)

5. Final Fantasy X: Listen, I'm not an RPG fan, at all! But seriously now, this game is awesome beyond comparison. I kept from buying this game for SO LONG, but I could not bare it anylonger. Lets just say this, well, well worth it. I am now an RPG fan because of this game alone. It brings adventure and a story line that totally immerses you into its virtual world of wonder, might, lol, and magic.

6. Jak II: Before you skip on down to the next game, lol, hear me out. This game is better in some ways then Jak III, thats why I listed it and not Jak III. So anyways, yea it's kinda kiddy, and your GameCube Zelda games arnt'? The game is great and deserves to be played. Spend $25 and go buy this game, and if you like it, buy all three. It offers some of the best 3D platforming for any console of today. Buy it now!

7. Ace Combat 5: So your not a flight sim fan huh? Well this game will make you one. I have to say this is THE best looking game on the PS2 of today. I'm just going to leave it at that, argue all you want, nothing compares. Gameplay is fantastic, good storyline, and its fun to shoot jets down!!!

8. Shadow of Rome: This game offers pure, brutal entertainment at its best. It's a fun, exciting game that delievers well. Yes, not for all people, but it's 8 on my list so buy it.

9. Killzone: I'm really liking this game. I mean, it's very realistic feeling... Ok, it has some minor problems, but, they are easily over looked when your so far consumed with shooting baddies. The only reason why I'm having a little proble with it even being on my top 10 list of games is because its what I like to call a copy cat. That is, I almost feel like I'm playing Halo on the XBOX here... Other then that, go buy this game, now!

10. Spider-man 2: Ok, I'm not a big fan of "games-created-because-a-moive-just-came-out" type of games, 'aka "G.C.B.A.M.J.C.O.". Because usually, G.C.B.A.M.J.C.O. type of games generally suck really bad. It's sad, but it's the truth. I think most developers problems with G.C.B.A.M.J.C.O. is that they just don't put enough time into it. If they did, then we would all be huge fans of G.C.B.A.M.J.C.O. But were not. On the contrary, this is one big G.C.B.A.M.J.C.O. that I really like to play alot. So go buy this off-of-a-movie made game!!

Well that raps it up, untill next time.

Jaky boy, over so soon?

I just don't understand games these days. What is with people making these 15 hr. or shorter adventure\platformer games! I mean seriously, if I'm going to go through all the trouble and actually buy a game, I want it to last a little longer then 15 hrs. So, I did myself a favor. I said to myself, "you know seth, why don't you just buy Jak I, II & III all at the same time, that'll give you atleast 50 hrs of gameplay total!!" And I mean it sounded like a good deal. All three games right under $60. ( thanks EB )

So I started the cute little adventure with the elvish little boy and his furry little sidekick. I beat all three of the games in less then a weeks time... Oh don't get me wrong, they were great games!!, just a little short for me... peace out.

Zelda games

I don't understand why Sony can't come out with a game that is as good as the Zelda series for the N64. The sony has more then triple the 64's power and yet I have not found one game that even comes close. Why is this? Why can't they come out with an adventure/action game similar to the Zelda series... Ok so what if people say it resembles Zelda games, look what Driver 3 and True Crime did for GTA!! Come on Sony!!, please!! before the PS2 is over!!

Metal Gear

I'm really considering buying the third installment to the MGS genre. But is it really worth that price? If it is, why wasn't it rated any better then it was. It couldn't be that bad could it?
