Why do people keep making movies off of video games? Its pretty much impossible to think of a positively reviewed film based on a game without looking it up on the Internet. Let's look at some examples: Silent Hill received positive reviews from critics and is regarded as one of the scariest video game franchises of all time. What happened when it hit the big screen. It sucked. Resident Evil is one of the greatest video game franchises of all-time. Movie - sucked. Its not that there's no hope for video games. All of these games need to hve intriguing plots in order to be made into a movie adaptation. The problem is that either not enough time or effort is put into the story to make intriguing. Maybe the new Prince of Persia movie will sell well. Maybe I'll win the lottery some day. Maybe my pants will spontaneously combust as I'm writing this. But let's face it, after 200 bad movies based on video games, I wish they would just give up already.
