As someone who works in the development community, both as a developer and a writer, I'm quite disappointed with the whole firing situation. I was under the impression, especially in what Gamespot.com is supposedly known for providing (editorial "reviews" on products based from the educated opinion of the reviewer") that someone wouldn't be fired for giving their honest and accurate review of a game. How and why would a corporation allow itself to be bullied by a company that NEEDS Gamespot, not the other way around. It boggles the mind how said individual was released based on this. Again, this is all based on if the rumor mills are accurate, they seemed to be though. As an avid gamespotter, I urge Gamespot to shed light on this story, and tell us the truth.
sign for truth.
