Xbox 360 Case Modification

I finally decided to mod the cases on one of my 360's. I have purchased my pieces and will post pictures as the progress goes along. These next few pics are of the new components and case removal. I hope everyone will enjoy. I just think this is a very neat idea.

Original Console Case Removed Chameleon Air Tube New Cooling Fans Cooling Fans and Air Tube installed.

Phantasmagoria

I've finally after several years again own Phantasmagoria. I had my copy stolen a long time ago and got another just today! I'd forgotten how creepy and magnificent a game it was. I will post a review up later on, but for now I'll see how long till I beat it again.

New Blu-Ray player.

I finally got me a Blu-Ray player. It's a Magnavox and it is really awesome. I can't believe the picture quality of these movies. I watched Wall E and Pineapple Express last night and felt like I was in the movie with the characters. Just thought I would make a quick post and let everyone know, if you don't have one you definitely need to get one!

Had a bit of a scare.

Had a bit of a scare on Monday of this week. I had went shopping with my wife and mother in law and we were on our way back from the shopping center, which is about 100 miles away from my home. All of a sudden out of nowhere my left arm went numb and I had this weird sensation in my chest. I freaked out but didn't say anything until I got home and I told my wife. The next day I managed to get into a clinic to get myself checked out. I told the doctors and nurses what was going on and they listened to my heart and everything and hooked me up to an Electrocardiogram. This read out fine and they told me I shouldn't have anything to worry about, that these were normal palpitations of the heart and due to the fact I had been sick a week prior that this could have had something to do with it as well, I have seemed to be doing alright since then and believe that is all it was, but if I get to feeling weird again I will be scheduling an apointment with my GP, who was booked at the time and couldn't see me.

My 360 "red ringed" again.

Well, after two solid years of playing my console red ringed for the second time. I'm not too frustrated considering I have played this thing non stop and it is a release console. I called Microsoft the day that it happened and they are of course going to repair it for free, they also informed me that in a month my warranty for this issue is up. So I will be shipping it tomorrow in its lovely white coffin for repair. I was freaking out when they told me 3-4 weeks before I get it back. I thought my gaming was over until next year, but my wife brought me a surprise yesterday. She handed me a lovely wrapped gift and told me to open it early. So I started tearing open the wrapping paper of my early present, that she had obviously been hiding from me for sometime. To my amazement it was an Elite, so now I'm back gaming and won't be down for almost a month. So hit me up if you wanna play sometime.

Problematic Achievement Whoring!

I'm all about getting achievements as well as the next guy. Achievements show that you have done something in a game that is worth showing. The only problem I have with it is when trying to get achievements lessens the gaming experience for other players who are playing with you. This has become a serious problem in some of the games I have been playing online lately. People tend to forget they are playing a game where they are supposed to be working together, but all they have on their minds are getting these damned achievements so they can show them off on their profile. This has become seriously bad when I have been playing Gears of War 2 or Left 4 Dead. These are two games that it is important that the whole team works together, but instead team mates are too concerned with getting achievements that they let other players die, or they let them stay down until they can get their so many headshots, chainsaw battles, etc. I think people should put aside the achievements and just get them when they activate instead of making it a goal to where they have to play for this and just forget about other players. The games are made to be played not just get the achievements. If everybody would take this into consideration they would make the gaming experience for everyone else a little better.

Left 4 Dead Demo

I just got through playing my early release of the Left 4 Dead demo and all I have to say is kick @ss! This game is gonna rock so freakin hard! If you have not pre-ordered it, then you need to get to your local retailer.
