The game is great. Ilike teh atmosphere, weapons and graphics, but it did lack somethign and had a feelng of emptyness to it.GreyDarienFox
I completely agree.
I'll stick to Crysis, Orange Box and UT3.
Zalman 5.1 surround sound gaming headphones.
http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/view.asp?idx=110&code=023
2 front speakers, 2 mid speakers, 2 rear speakers and a mini sub. Plugs in using 3 headphone jacks (5.1+ surround sound cards and most modern built in mobo sound cards)
" 5.1 channel system is composed of six speakers, front right and left, a center, rear right and left, and a sub-woofer for a Low Frequency Effect(LFE)."
The base is great because of how many speakers there are and the mini sub, but it still doesn't compare to having a real sub.
I have had these headphones for over 3 years now, and they really help with FPS games at lan parties :)

No Doom 3....biggest fps dissapointment imo
Half-Life 2 is better looking than Doom 3 hands down.
All you people that think that Doom3 looks better than Half-Life 2 clearly do not own a computer capable of playing both games on the highest settings. There is absolutely no competition here.
The characters in Half-Life 2 look real each character has there own muscular structure...Doom 3 used primative modeling techniques.
The shadows look real in Half-Life 2 and not over saturated and over dramatized like in Doom 3
Half-Life 2 took advantage of every Directx 9.0C technology available. Doom 3 focused on oversaturated lighting effects.
Even at the highest settings in Doom 3 the people faces have corners....Half-Life 2 made every characted look really realistic.
