Time for another blog!

Okay, everyone should know, by now, that the Tenchu Z demo has finally arrived. I have always thought the series was interesting, but not mind blowing. I decided to download it to see if was any good. I started it up and it seemed.... okay. The first thing I saw was the customizable character that I thought was pretty good. I changed my stats too. I made my partner and started the game up. The graphics, to me at least, seemed mediocre. I'm not saying they weren't terrible, but there were plenty of spots where I thought that this looked like an Xbox or even a PS2 game. The stealth kills also kind of get repetitive. Just the minor things might set this game back. The gameplay, though, is very simple and fun. The new features too, make this game enjoyable. They didn't have a co-op mode on the demo but that might be the selling point of the game. Not much of the story was revealed, but the series is known for have a pretty good story line to it.

I also tried out some of the Overlord Demo. I haven't played it enough too talk about it so I'll have to get to you guys about that one.

In other news, I have finally gotten a Wii. Actually I got it the first week of May, but I have been too lazy to blog about it. I also spent about $115 on a Wi-Fi connection so I can use the Wii to its full capabilities. I don't own many games for it, but when the all the games, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Strikers, come out I will buy them. If any one wants to add me my Friend code should be up at the top of my page.

I know that there are many people who love RPG's and enjoy playing them for the graphics and the stories that move us in different ways. I happen to be one of them, but there is one thing that bothers me ,a little, about some (not all!) RPG's. The names. It may seem weird, but I mean come on! Some of the names for RPG's aren't even real words! Hell it's probably not even a language. I can see that sometimes the titles might be Japanese, but they could at least translate them into English. Here are some examples.

Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht

Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose

Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra

Wow. I have played those games but, the only thing I can read in the title is Xenosaga and that's it. I mean I played through the 1st one, but I honestly don't recall anything about "Der Wille" or something called "zur Macht". I honestly don't think they are words at all. I'm not saying I hate the Series, but I just don't understand the Titles!

There are more, but I think you are starting to get the picture.

Anyway, I love RPG's and always will. There are probably good reasons why some RPG's are named the way they are, but it is still hard to understand them.(At least until the companies actually tell us)

Today I went to school thinking that this would be another boring and lousy day at school. I went into my 1st class and what do I see...? A substitute. AWESOME!! The sub passed out a wordsearch and 20 minutes later the teacher fell asleep on the teachers desk. The bell was going to ring in 20 minutes and with the sub sleeping we all ran into the hall and got out early. Next, 2nd period, a movie. I think it was Ocean's Eleven. We watched that and then lunch time. I had hung out with my friends talking and luaghing about stupid things. 3rd and 4th period I had subs. Then the moment I had waited for....The bell. I got out the class and headed home. I called my friend and now I get to go to the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon The Movie Film For Theaters. I hope that the movie is good because I don't want to waste my money on a crappy movie. Hopefully good luck will be on my side for a little bit longer.

As I am writing this, it is 2 o' clock in the morning. I was bored so I decided to blog.

Let's see....okay. Mostly game news. I had recently got at least 4800 Microsoft points to get the Shivering Isles pack that cost 2400 points. I did not kow that at the time so I just got the normal 1600. Later I had gotten the other points and bought the Shivering Isles Expansion, Castlevania:SOTN, Ms. Pac-man, Alien Hominaid and 1989 TMNT. I had also gotten Crackdown for Easter.

I had stopped playing Oblivion for a while because I had beaten basically everything in the main stroy and all the guilds. I almost beat every side quest and I beat most of the extra content such as the Knights of the Nine ,etc. But when I saw this expansion I had to get it. So far I am loving it. I really like the tone and emotion of this expansion than the normal game itself. The Shivering Isles seems to have more...personality than Cyrodill. The characters are also more colorful and vibrant than the Cyrodill counterparts. I have almost beaten it. This expansion takes quite awhile to beat. I think I have put in at least an extra 13 hours to my file, so that makes 80 somthing hours I'm not to sure. I am also glad that they decided to add more points to the game. I need more points.

 I think I will make the rest of this blog a video and I will put it on by tomorrow....hopefully.

Me and my Friends decided to make a machinima with the game The Sims 2. We are starting to plan Ideas out for the first couple of episode now but they probably won't be done for maybe a week of 2. I won't say much but I will say that it is called Livin Lazy and is about basically a bunch of roommates ,with no money, try to live out a normal life. Of course ,though, one wastes all the money on Pizza and random stuff and the other is addicted to women and video games. We have a longer story to plot out, but I hope that the series gets some views. So me and my friends can continue to do what me and my friends love to do...make people laugh.:)

I can't believe it's been at least 6 months since I actually blogged on Gamespot. I guess I have been really busy with school. I try to keep all of my grades up so I don't have to worry about failing.

But, this blog isn't about school. It's about Games. Now in six months. I have gotten at least got 20 games over that time period, some of those including Bully, FFXII, R6: Vegas, SDVR 2007, THP8, and a few other that I don't remember.

I will start with Bully. After a couple of weeks I beat it. It's not a hard game just a little long and I only played it for maybe an hour or two a day, so that's another reason why. The game is incredibly fun and not as controversal as poeple(Politics) thought is was going to be. I know the game runs off the GTA engine and the engine was upgraded, but it kinda looks extremely grainy at times, but I wasn't expecting the graphics to be 360 quality. The jokes are funny as well. I would have to give this game a 8.5 or 9.

Next is FFXII. I really, REALLY enjoy this game. I think that it is amazing. If you have played it then you would know what I mean. The music, graphics, new battle system, new camera, EVERYTHING!!!!!. Their are so many things great about this game I don't think I could fit it in this blog. I think I will tell this in another blog another day.

Now Rainbow Six: Vegas, I haven't played much of this since I got it a week ago, the only thing I have really done is play multiplayer, I can't tell you that the game is good or bad, but I know that I'm so used to Gears of War It takes me a while to get into RS:V mode. From what I can tell the multiplayer is fast and furious. I'm not high in the ranks(I'm a Specialist),but I hope to get better and start a clan that me and my friend might make. We aren't very sure yet. Anyway I will have to tell you about the Single player when I get futher in it.

Man this is long......

Now, Smackdown vs. RAW 2007. I like it on the 360 than I do on the PS2, which my friend has, just due to the loading times and graphics. The feeling of the game, to me, is much , much better than last years.

I know my responses to my  games are getting much shorter but I need to finish some last minute H.W. for school so next time you see me I might have a video blog up. I hope to have it by Friday.

Nothing new with games in this blog just things in my life. Well, I guess i could start with the new Skateboard. I got an Almost board with A class Silver trucks and Ricta wheels. Its flip is good and rides very smooth. It cost $133 with shipping. It was totally worth it though. I am only starting but I can at least kick and push on my board and I can keep my balance. The only thing I can do is ollie in the house or grass and Casper on the pavement, but I practice everyday and make sure I perfect my style. If anyone has a Skateboard tell me what type.:D 

In other news.......well I finally got over 900 songs on my 60GB Ipod Video, I guess that is somthin...... I have the most songs in my Ipod in my entire school. I have been listehing to a mix of Metal, Rock, Punk, Hip-Hop, and R&B. Staind,Trapt, DangerDoom, Eminem, my friend had also put on songs from Metalocalypse on [Adult Swim].

Why do I say that? Because I got Dead Rising and The Bards Tale. My opinion on both...........there great!:lol: I really like the feel to Dead Rising and the many things you can use to kill the zombies. It's also good because you don't need to even follow the story you can save and kill zombies for three days and beat it.:lol:

Now....... The Bard's Tale. This is a hilarious game! It takes all the D&D game elements and makes fun of them. The main character "The Bard" is very funny as well. You need to save a princess......but not like every princess tale you hear. This man is after money, girls, and fame.:D

It was also a bad weekend for me though....... :(I had a fever of I think maybe 102 degrees or somthin I don't remember... I was too pissed off because I also missed my friends birthday.:evil: As I type this I am still pretty sick. I have no fever but I still have a sore throat and I am coughing like crazy.:( Well, my zombie killing will soothe the pain.:P

I have been giving this alot of thought and my friends have finally convinced me to start skateboarding. I think that it's cool. I'm not going pro, I just will do it to have fun with my friends. I might get a Hook-Ups board or a DGK board. I don't know......oh yeah I also got Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Good graphics and the controls are good. I will write a review for this game by thursday......maybe.
