College football is a little smoother than Madden.

ok. so letting the trailer stir overnight in my head has brought me to my conclusion. im disappointed in what we know so far, but not surprised. granted, they could be just withholding a bunch of scarier elements, but im going off of what we have seen and its RE4 part deux.

i dont think the series is ruined or anything so drastic, but as ive mentioned before it's evolved away from what i originally loved RE for. if they can get back some of the feeling of isolation and desperation from earlier games, we would be right on track. if they can lose the abundance of ammo and weapons and put more emphasis on survival over the arcade feel of RE4, we would be right on track.

i don't know, its just sad that i have to look someplace other than RE for my survival horror fix. RE is becoming a great action series with the undead/plagas/whatever elements, but i am going to have to hope for another game to get my fix for what RE originally delivered.

i know ive said this before but i guess i had hoped RE5 was going to get back to the old elements while keeping its mechanical advancements.
