I killed it with the Eager Cleaver line, and if I remember correctly, Tigrex helm, Hermitaur mail, guardian spirit guards, blango tasset and genprey greaves. In other words, you don't even need armour skills to kill rathalos.
The only game I have in the Monster Hunter series is Monster Hunter Freedom, not even 2 or Unite, and I am just blown away by it's awesomeness. When I saw Monster Hunter 3, I thought I am going to get that without a doubt. So I looked up Monster Hunter 3 + ps3 in google, and what do I get? Monster Hunter 3 for PS3: cancelled. Where's a shotgun when you need it?
Oops, forgot something. I want the Dragon back. Flamethrowers ftw. And the Hailstorm, but that's not going to happen with the Marksman's secondary fire.
Yes, definitely controllable vehicles. At least one stage like Cheddar Gorge from FoM. That was fun. I also want a dual weapon like the Reaper Carbines. They had an awesome melee. I think they need to bring back a few FoM weapons, and have much more weapon variety. They also need to keep the Magnum. I mean, what could be better than a handgun that turns an enemy into what is, for all intents and purposes, a grenade? I'm pretty sure that at the very least we will be seeing the Carbine, the Bullseye, the Rossmore and the Auger. They are about the most standard weapons in Resistance. They also need to be more consistent. I like the new enemies in R2 and all, but as if Slipskulls and Widowmakers and those Arc-Charger guys were just going to disappear. I think it's mainly because they didn't want to re-introduce the Arc Charger or Reaper Carbines.
