Time seems to fly by so fast.

Well, it's been an interesting time. Joined the Army. Mistake? I dunno, it's ok. Catching up on games I missed during basic training and AIT has been interesting. Apparently I didn't miss all that much, fortunately. Now I'm just chilling, playing my PS3 and having fun.

By the way, Demon's Souls is a wickedly stupid hard game, but fun. It took me like 2 hours to figure out how the hell to beat the tower knight guard in the second level. I felt SO dumb after figuring it out. He went down pretty easy after that. Unfortunately the game is going to get alot harder, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. Should be pretty fun.

Well, I'm going to go back to playing Demon's Souls.

Seriously, this is one of the best years in a LONG time when it comes to new games. We have new masterpieces in Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed. We have great sequels in Halo 3, Metroid Prime 3, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl.And a brand newMario game in Super Mario Galaxies that isturning heads and making people salivate.

We even have a couple new handheld games that look good, including the newest Zelda game: Phantom Hourglass.

I haven't felt so excited for a new generation of games in years, probably since the very late1990s. It's looking good.

I really must say, I don't know what I expected from the Wii. I knew the graphics wouldn't be as good, nor the online as fleshed out as the Xbox 360. I was slightly leery.

Now that I got mine, I am extremely pleased. The online features show the potential of the system, and if it is utilized to it's full potential, it really could be amazing.

The Wiimote and Nuchuk are simply the coolest controllers ever. The motion controls are seamless and extremely fun. I can imagine some amazing games built around these controllers.

The only downsides to the system are the relatively poor graphics and lack of HD support. The Wii supports 480p with component cables. That's it. It sucks. Also, the graphics are not terribly better than the Gamecube. All this shouldn't matter if good games are made, and they should and will be.

Overall, the system is far better than I though it would be.

Why do people love Chrono Trigger so much? I played it, and found it an average game with amazing music...

Anyway, I wish someone would explain :P
