I got two more today to bring me up to 3 and then I'll get one dualshock 3 for me and my single player games.

As for the look at the tropheys on the Internet thing. That would be cool.

Thats what I like about my mate 360. He can have a look at all his achievements online and even talk to his mates from his comp to there 360. (as he does it at work)

Sony needs something big. But something that 360 owners can only dream of? It has to be a new IP......

I also hope it's not the Agency. I would rather have something on top of that to really push ps3 over the edge of  competition.

 Something that would truly be mind-blowingly incredible for ps3 owners would be an exclusive deal with apple about some future playstation perifs. New Ipods and such being created with some features specifically catering to the ps3 would be pretty incredible, and of course, it's something that ms would never get.

 But I already know I'm just wishing, and that this will be a new IP. Here's hoping that it's something more exciting than a "spy-based" MMO!

Why would you lose your data on your PS3 if you format an external? And no, if you buy Parition Magic or something you won't... But normally, yes... you would.

I'm saying format the hard drive itself... and yes it needs to be plugged into a computer as far as I do it.

As far as the wireless stuff goes, I do have a wireless router plugged in down the hall, but my question is what to plug into the ps3 for it to be able to grab the signal. Right now I have the usb wireless adapter I can't get a connection. Whenever I test internet connection, the screen says no ethernet cable connected.

I bought a 20gb PS3 on launch day and have finally decided to move it out to the living room, far from any ethernet cables.

 Does anyone know exactly what kind of wireless adapters I can use to make my ps3 wireless? I just bought a usb wireless adapter from office depot and, as far as I can tell, the PS3 just doesn't recognize it or something.

 ANY ADVICE would be greatly appreciated....

I'm also wondering about how the Playstation and external harddrives work. I have an external that I would like to use with my playstation, but, yet again, the playstation doesn't recognize it. The hard drive is normally for desktops and is a maxtor... don't know if that helps at all.
