To those who feel disenfranchised by Gamespot"s editorial direction, I would say this. Instead of raging in the comments and forums, thus supplying them with clicks and ad revenue, simply leave. As consumers, Gamespot needs us, not the other way around. So I say leave it to the SJWs and hipsters. There are plenty of other places to get your gaming news, that don't insult, or belittle their readers. So join me whilst i jump the proverbial ship. Goodbye and good luck.

@DocSanchez: Agree. I miss the days when we were social outcasts. I think it will hit critical mass pretty soon though. I'll miss the development dollars that will leave with them, but it's a fair price to pay to enjoy my hobby in peace.

@DocSanchez: Lol. It's probably the Hitler reference. I've been dinged on that one before. Apparently if you don't say it, it never happened. I agree with you though. The political narrative has been hijacked by hipsters, who seem to be both completely irresponsible, and woefully uninformed. They seem to be totally oblivious to the damage inflicted on the social and political conversation. After the dust settles, and they've expended their self indulgent anger, they move on to the next "thing". What's left behind is a chasm between people that is difficult to impossible to bridge.

Of course, you're right. I equate it with trying to discuss economics with a chihuahua. At the end of the day, they just can't understand the concept. So all they're going to do is yip and bark until you just turn around and leave. Though, I find that if your willing to give them a handout, they'll roll over and adore you.

@br0kenrabbit: No. How can you not see that you people are, for lack of a better word "bullies". This gentleman comported himself with tact, and was respectful. Never once was he insulting and rude. It took a hell of alot more courage for him to step in here knowing that a pack of jackals awaited him. You came off as a bunch of hipster, douchebag, elitist, bullies.
