Hi, today i have been having issues with my updates. about 6pm i tryed to load oblivion but it needed an update so i accepted left it for 5 minutes and still no progress so i canceled update and tried again but no progress

I then played cod 4 fine no updates and no problems, but my friend wanted to play the orange box so i loaded that and got an update so i left it and it was making progress this time it was slow but moving, i left it for about 10 mins and it was a quarter of the way there and it said download could not be bla bla etc. it said i needed to test my connection or something but it was fine. I've tried the orange box i few times but still nothing.

can anyone help me? as this is really irritating, am i having internet troubles or xbox troubles? as xbox live is mucking up so i've heard and sometimes my internet is slow at night. any help is appreciated =]
