Why is everyone b****ing about loading times? They arn't NEARLY as bad as they used to be with Ps2 and PsOne games, or XBox360. It's NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to make a game with 0 loading times, until they figure out a way to move away from CD type games, or just make them so fast that we don't notice the loading times... and even then it'll still be loading.

Loading times now don't nearly annoy me as much as they used to for previous systems. It seems to me like everyone is just impatient; besides, adding to the wait before you can play the game seems to add to the awe-inspiring experience you get from finally playing the game IMO.

It was a broken promise per-say... but you just have to realize that you're still playing the game from a CD :P, and loading times are always around when CD's are around.

Just get MGS4 and when you don't understand it, just let me borrow it. :)

MGS is really an aquired taste, to see if you'd like the MGS series, just rent MGS3, play it all the way through... then you can decide if you want MGS 4 or not.

But I agree with most everyone here: If you need someone else to convince you to buy the game... you shouldn't bother buying it. Also, if you think this game is 'just another FPS with good graphics' it's not. To me and everyone else here MGS is a lot more than that... but then again you wouldn't know what i'm talking about :P

[QUOTE="Large_Soda"][QUOTE="odin2019"]

[QUOTE="aaron6581230"]What GTA4 incident? You mean the freezing/bricking problem that was overly exagerated over the internet that Rockstar and Sony quickly fixed? On my part, I think they did a great job when they found that there was a problem with the gameodin2019

Thats not even close to the problem that is going on. All if not most of those 10 out 10 reviews you see on gamerankings.com have been rigged by rockstar.

Rigged how? Actually screw it, I don't care how, this just reeks of typical backlash from something that becomes "too" popular. The game is great and deserves its scores.

All you have to do is type in GTA4 reviews rigged by rockstar on google and you will be directed to whats going on. I have come to the conclusion about some of you all and that is that either you all are not hard to impress when it comes to games or you are just huge fans of GTA in general.

Oh god -_-;; Here comes yet another person trying to attack Rockstar for making a game that actually has a very well developed plot, great graphics, a overhauled damage engine, etc, etc. Listen... it seems to me that you're the type of person who believes Elvis was shot, 2Pac was assassinated by the government, 9-11 was a conspiracy, and UFO's are real. Come on... credit is due where credit is earned. On a side note, 10/10 doesn't mean that it's perfect... it just means that it's innovative, has solid gameplay, (Especially in grand theft auto>>) has a story line that makes SENSE, and something that's addicting to play. Apparently whining about the "rigging" of the score isn't going to do anything... so why bother -_-;;

It would be nice for a different version maybe to integrate that... but for now they should just stick with what they know works :P If it ain't broke... don't fix it.

[QUOTE="EnigManic"]

Sony recently announced plans to make motion-controllers for the PS3. (see the May issue of Game Informer, Loose Talk section)

What predictions can you make for the quality and acceptance of such controllers, and what PS3 titles do you think would benefit most from incorporating motion controls?

jojo198

what??? Sony is trying to copy that crappy wii control? which smart guy wont even buy it or even called it new or good, i would not wast my money to buy a pieces of crap like wii-mote, Sony is gay do u have u own brain Sony????? stop ripping us off and expecting us to pay u again u ****

They arn't making something "exactly" like the wii-mote. More than likely just a controller with more movement functionality; if so, there's nothing wrong with that. Taking the controller as it is, adding more functionality to it, maybe upping the battery life (because lets face it... to everyone that buys a new controller with the dual-shock, the battery life will more than likely be cut in half if the vibrate function is turned on). That would put Sony on better terms with people who are looking for more fun and innovative games that have to do with movement (Ex: Ace Combat, Warhawk, Boxing games, FPS, the list goes on), I don't think that as soon as they come out with the controller the advertisements would render previous controllers obsolete and DEMAND that you buy a new one. As long as it isn't required for ALL games and just a select few, I think that it's an innovative step to integrate something with a different system. Besides, if no one used someone else's ideas towards their own companies advantage, then we wouldn't have computer mice (They were invented from a company that made printers).

Not a tad bit harsh >_>... to think that Kojima is going to delay MGS4 simply due to implimenting some new fangled "motion sensor" is a bit moronic. The chance of them adding it in a patch isn't very likely... considering the way he makes games is specified for tech. at the time. :P
