[QUOTE="OoSuperMarioO"]Someone please throw a lock on this thread please cause this is ridiculous. All I hear is bad players moaning cause they stink at Gears(Prove me otherwise and come online with me.) If you guys had the slightest ideas of how to play Gears you will then be satisfy and understand why the cover and shoot mechanic works so well and gives it variety compare to other shooters. Christ sakes you guys must ofbeen in a game wereexprienced players literally slaughtered you and you quited out the game(Learn how to play before you remark it cause I think you all are just bad at Gears period.).Cod4 is all hype no show you finish it and it catches dust on the shelves yet the multiplayer is exactly like Cod2(Most linearshooter I played this gen.).GodLovesDead
Stop requesting to lock threads because you have nothing else to say besides "U DONT LIEK IT CUZ UR BAD AT IT SO UR OPINION DOESNT COUNT".
Thank You. This guy hides behind his computer slamming people for having an opinion different from his over a stupid game. How childish. Based upon his eagerness to play everyone online it would seem that his whole sense of self-esteem is hinged on how well he plays Gears online. Very very sad :(.
Just because someone hasn't mastered every facet of a game (i.e. cover system in this case) doesn't mean they can't form an intelligent and accurate assesment about the quality of the gameplay. I usually know if I'm going to like a game within the first 15 min or so, well before I've mastered it.If I don't like it by then, then my opinion prob won't change. Such is the case with Gears. The cover system is difficult to use and the character often hugs the wall when you don't want him tooor darts off in a different direction than you intended. Even if the cover system was easier to use though, I still find the gameplay very repetitive and shallow. Stop, Pop, Rinse, Repeat.
