Let's say I see a farmer with nice trousers. Also, I saw his son with a sword I like, but it's late now and he is in the family house (which is locked). What do I do?

Most games: Nothing. Most of the time if I kill the farmer (if this is even allowed!) I'll only get a standard (and probably irrelevant) piece of loot. Also, the house door is locked, but even if it wasn't I would probably be unable to a) kill an innocent NPC or b) loot his body for the exact things his model has.
Bethesda games: I kill the farmer, then search his body. I take the trousers (I can take any clothes he wears and dress up exactly like him if I want to) and I also take the key to his house. I open the door, walk to the sleeping son and pickpocket him to grab his sword. Every NPC is like you: he has an inventory with all the things he posseses (even his clothes and house keys), his stats and so on.

Conclusion: A more intresting story would be nice, but not what makes Bethesda games the best (IMHO, of course). Extremely hyped for FO4.

This is clearly a joke. I love residen't evil for being an atmospheric horror game, not Gears of War with zombie skins. This game is an ultra-epic fail in my opinion.
