That's the thing... it's not up to you to define what is trivial or not for them. Everyone has their own susceptibilities. What Gina said is in my opinion a very stupid statement. Not only the idea behind is clearly not accurated, but the comparison is horrendous.
But a mistake is something that everyone does. But for what I read, this is not the first time, so I can understand Disney perspective... enough is enough. She clearly is not going to stop (her right), so Disney allowed her to be herself freely. And the only way to do that is in separated ways...

My friend... I´m European, and calling Nazis bad is the same thing as calling the devil a troubled kid... I will not dig very much because I believe it is not a topic to discuss in this thread. But if a Nazi is per se a disgusting figure you can imagine what I think about people dressed as a Nazi not undertanding the full reach or the bagage in their actions.
But I'll say it again... Gina gave the wrong analogy because the Nazis are on her side of the fence, not in the other side. And by that I´m not saying she is a Nazi, or support Nazi people. I´m just saying that she made a very, very stupid comparison.

Also, I may be wrong but... aren't the Nazis (or US citizens with Nazi ornamentations) powered and praising the major republican representative? So... is she trading sides? Or the comparison just fell flat?
I´m not a property of the company I work for, but if I talk like a racist prick their will be consequences. Its all a matter of perspective. What she said may means nothing for some people or even mean something cool for other people, but it also may feel like something very offensive for other people. Disney chose one side, and I have to admit I believe is the right (no pun intended) side...
