Hello everyone. I am currently having a problem with my Xbox 360 disc tray.

Here is the situation, I am currently in the Army. So I was away for nine months. My Xbox 360 was put away into a box for safekeeping while I was gone. I know the box was not messed with, and there was minimal dust when I pulled it out. The people at Microsoft want me to send it back, but I really want to avoid that if at all possible.

This is what happens. I turned the 360 on, and immediatly the disc tray opened up. So I push the button for the disc tray to close. It does close, but about 3 seconds later it automatically ejects again. It does the same thing when I put a game in it. Even when I turn the console off with the tray opens, it closes the tray and shoots it right back out even though its off.

BTW- The dashboard comes up like usual, and I can scroll through it fine. And I do not see any blockage from the tray closing, And it closes all the way.

Any Help guys, I would really appreciate it.
