I think it seems "choppy" because it needs to give you that split second so you could do combos. I could be wrong, I'm not an expert on fighting games.

I think that it would be cool if you could mix and match armor like in the Elder Scrolls.

The last good COD game was MW2. They all suck now. Every time a developer releases yearly installments of game it goes down hill fast. That's why all Assassin's creed games suck from Black Flag on.
