Gamespot is finally getting rid of unions after many years of not caring about it. Seems like moving over to our own site was a good idea after all. If you haven't moved over to the site yet (why haven't you?), you can still be a part of GUFU by going over to our forum.

Good. The better we get rid of that crap, the sooner America will move on to better treats.

...and here we are. Back to square 1 once again.

For the last year we've been trying to find a way to get new members into GUFU, but none of our "efforts" worked out in the end. The whole point in GUFUYourself was to branch away from Gamespot and start our own community. It was a great idea where GUFU members can post their blogs on the site and gain some new faces from followers, while having our own forum, free from ToU, and communicate with new members. However, nobody was willing to write anything for the site and the idea vanished. We kept the Gamespot forum open to attract new members and had suggestions of branching out to any other website, but the current userbase isn't willing to accept anyone else into the group.

At this point, I don't know what to tell you. Our best bet is to stick with the SW crowd, but that has now turned to s***. I guess we can stick to our stagnated group on IRC.

Finally. All we need is that redesigned site and GUFUYourself shall reign again during the summer (or fail like it already did. pick your choice)

I could see Onlive and Gaikai apps coming to PSN, but Im a little disappointed that Sony isnt focusing on streaming PS3 games to the Vita. One of the main things that got me excited for the Vita was the ability to play PS3 titles on the Vita (similar to the Wii U). Unfortunately, you can only do this with PS1 games so its pointless.

There's less than 10 days until the E3 conferences start, with Konami probably having another recorded video being released on May 31. Get hyped for those Kinect games!

Unless they actually announce next-generation consoles (which I doubt), I expect Microsoft and Sony's conference to be terrible and boring as usual. However, it's an even-numbered year so expect one of these conferences to be legendarily terrible (possibly Nintendo if the Wii U turns out to be a lackluster system).

Its that time of year again where game companies continue to surprise/disappoint/enrage us at E3. In less than 1 week, we'll be able to see the future of gaming and its copious amounts of shooters, Kinect games, and continuing disappointment of no next-generation consoles (besides the Wii U). Here is the schedule.

E3 2012 Times

as well as an added bonus from Nintendo where they will have a Wii U hardware discussion on June 6 @ 2:30 AM ET (June 5 @ 11:30 PM PT) as well as their Software Roundtable being streamed live for the first time on June 6 @ 9 PM ET (6 PM PT).

What are you guys expecting from this year's E3? Will Microsoft show stuff that's not related to Kinect? Will Sony try to salvage the Vita with more games? Will the Wii U be better than current generation hardware? discuss.
