For all the reasons everyone listed above. A good example is the Bond Franchise which they took over after Goldeneye. And then they went on to ruin Timesplitters with the weak third installment (2 was AMAZING)
I've been trying to get on for the last hour or so and keep getting a network error message telling me I can't sign into PSN at the moment. I checked my internet connection and it's all good... Anybody else having this issue at the moment??
I can't believe how many people are tearing down R6V! It's a great game!!! I'd be wary with Heavenly Sword... It's got a lot of hype right now because it was just released. True, HS is a gorgeous game and fun for awhile, but you'll be done with it by this time next week.
I'd buy Trilogy if it was a proper trilogy and not like the PS1 and N64 versions which missed some characters or stages, had watered down graphics, and reduced gore. Do the first full trilogy (all stages and characters) with the arcade quality and I'll buy it in a second.
I rented Yoshi's Story back in the N64 days and didn't play it for more than half an hour. One of the biggest dissapointments for a video game I've ever had. Save your money for SMW 2: Yoshi's Island. That game rocked. Anyone know when they might be releasing that???
I've been hearing a lot lately about Vizio and their HDtv products. They're whomping all the other manufacturer's right now and getting pretty good reviews on their products. They sell cheap, but apparently it's only how they market their TVs which are guaranteed to be quality products. Does anyone have any experience with them? Been looking at some HDs and Vizio is coming up a lot. Gotta love those prices, just want to be sure they look alright and are reliable too. PLEASE ONLY RESPOND IF YOU HAVE OR HAVE HAD A VIZIO. I don't want angry fanboys telling me it's Sony or the Highway. Just some accurate information. In a couple published reviews I've read of the 42" LCD they say it's quality is practically comparable to Sony and Samsung products... thoughts??
Unreal 2004 is one of my favorite games on my computer to this day so you can bet I'll be buying Unreal III the moment it comes out. Probably for PS3 as I have a Mac and doubt it'll be out for that anytime soon, if ever. I'm interested in Haze though as I was also a huge fan of the Timesplitter games (not so much of the 3rd one, I blame EA for screwing it up). Think I'll wait for more info or reveiws before I decide on it though. Kinda burnt out on all these sci-fi futuristic shooters... Unreal is the exception cause it's just insane and ridiculously awesome.
