People, Nintendo Power overrates pretty much ALL Nintendo and Sega games. I'm going to look in the history and see...

New Super Mario Bros. a 9.5 when it doesn't deserve a point over 9.0...Metroid Hunter a 8.5 which I thought was rubbish, smae with Nintendogs getting 8.5

Not to mention all these Wii games, Excite Truck/Wii Sports/etc. an 8.5 is way too high...considering how short and shallow the games are...Sonic getting an 8.5...wtf...so short and not that great.

I'm shocked TP didn't get a 10 to be honest.

Shadow the Hedgehog an 8, Pokemon XD and Battalion Wars an 8.5 which are sub-par games at best, Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon was utter crap and it got an 8...

I could go on and on but you get the general gist of it, heavily biased and overrated.

I'd take IGN's reviews the best (although sometiems inflated - not too thrilled with a 9.5 for elite beat agents..)..and Game Informer's are decent, except GI is the opposite- a little biased against Nintendo games and way too inflated on sports and shooters.

That's exactly what I mean. All of his moves deal with speed...IMO that would make for a very unbalanced, and kind of bland character. I think if they put him in, they'll have to give him an extra move that he didn't have before. Like someone else meantioned with CP. Falcon.

I can honestly say I don't want Sonic in. Sonic games lately...have been pretty bad.

But remember the good days. Sonic is still a really strong character; Sega's Mario. The mere inclusion of him as a character, recent work aside, would be great.

Why has no one brought up Mario and Sonic at the Olympics as a point for Sonic's inclusion?

I don't know. There are a few other things that seem to be in the way...I mean, what is his potential moveset? But I suppose not all the other characters had the moves they did in the game...

It actually seems like Knuckles would fit better to me...although that would be stupid to have Knuckles and not Sonic. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
