@danku_chan: Because if you are a manager this is something sooner or later some of them will face. If you had a realistic American Football game where the players decided to kneel, you would have to make decisions that may affect your job and the team's morale. Football Manager last year tackled what effects Brexit might have on the footballing world because that is something that managers will face all too soon.

@irritatedstick: What? Regenerated players (ie not real players but ones which appear in the future as replacements for retired players) may come out as gay which has zero impact on gameplay other than possibly some issues with the squad. I doubt you've played any of the series as this is without doubt one of the most in depth games ever made and is supposed to reflect the real challenges of managing a team, which could include one of your players announcing they were gay.

I think this will become a real world thing and its cool that Football Manager once again is ahead of the game. Enjoying the beta so far.

TechnologoDoom, the difference between the PC and console versions wasn't just graphics (which I really couldn't care less about) but more to do with control scheme and some glitches.

GP Snake its not a new controller, its a keyboard add on for the controller.
