Nice to see some familiar faces still around!

As someone who works in tech, almost every tech company is having layoffs, they massively over hired during covid.

Weirdly got a notification on this. I now manage my kid :P

True story on his 5 a side soccer team he was the only kid to show up and the other team had 4. His "coach" (they just have people who supervise each team), who had seen him play before, when asked if he wanted some of the other team's players smiled and said no. My kid was winning 10-0 when they stopped the game and just played fun games instead. The other parents were grumbling about how it wasn't fair that he was by himself and one parent, all pissed, asked him what age is was and when his birthday was (he was young for the age group and he's small). #prouddadmoments #getf****dSusan

As for the history lesson, I cannot believe I miss all the fun, I never heard of this Casey was a Lem before a Mod happened. Man these newer folks need to read this and make SW fun again.

Sadly though, I was a lurker here on GS around 2011, I couldn't join due to school and I was already on IGN posting crazy but in late 2013, I left IGN due to how terrible it became and join GS October 2014. I admit, I barely remember anything from SW during the lurking I did here but that link was an interesting read.

Ha! Yea it is a pale shadow of its former glory, but the real reason I don't post any more is simply time. I took a new job about a year ago and its utterly hectic vs the old one where I could do my work and then had time to goof off. Also a kid lol
