After a crappy week and a crazy friday night, one of my fav things is waking up on saturday morning (or afternoon), getting a coffee and sitting down with a game for a few hours. It's an Xbox game, but the best thing for unwinding is GTA: San Andreas (right about now it SHOULD be GTA IV). It's one of those games you can literally play forever...you can stop playing for months at a time and pick up where you left off, or play it every day. Either way, it's a great game to play when your brain isn't fully functional yet.

What's your Saturday morning game?

Dead or Alive 3...I remember renting an Xbox with some of my friends, and we ended up playing for 16 hours straight.

This has been driving me crazy, and I was hoping someone out there would be able to help me out. A couple of problems:

  • First, I'm having problems initiating private chats with my friends. We're both online, I send an invitation, he accepts, then we wait and wait and wait. Our microphones are plugged in, working and everything. This is driving me freaking crazy.
  • Second, we can't play Halo 3 multiplayer. I send him an invitation, or vice-versa, and it tries to connect before we get an error message. What is the deal???!!!!!!!!!
Both our NATs are set to open, so I'm pretty sure it's not that. We're both on wireless networks, is that the problem? Is it the router??? I would be very appreciative if someone could help me out.

I would defintely rent this game before I bought it. The demo was so-so with decent visuals. The gameplay wasn't all that great though (what the hell is with pushing a sequence of buttons while falling down a hole anyway???!!). The only reason I'd play this because Undying rocked my world back in the day.

Def Jam Icon defintely sucked...especially compared to the PS2 Def Jam 2. Not to say the PS2 version was amazing, but it was at least fun. As for the worst 360 game, I'd have to chalk that up to Tenchu Z. That game was a huge steamy load that I actually paid for. At least there are enough good games out right now to avoid bad impulse buys...

I think the big thing is that they're probably directed at kids. My nephews have been driving my sister crazy begging her for a pair after they saw them.

Lol! Don't worry, i've been thinking of a way to justify my superman galoshes for years...

My friend works for Heelys and got some demo shoes that I got to take a look at last night. They're pretty cool shoes, although probably more for kids. I guess they're not necessairly shoes to be worn while gaming, but they're for people that love gaming in general. I didn't really get them at first, but I got to try on a pair, and they're actually uber comfortable...they weigh almost nothing, and you can throw them in a washing machine if they get too dirty.
