Im new here and I'm hoping someone can help me recognize an online game I use to play.

The year would have been approx 2005-2007 and it was played on the addicting games website. It was an escape type game that started you out in a car and you had to find a key to get into a house. An ominous voice kept talking about escaping before the shadows or shadow people or something about the darkness arrived. I'm pretty sure it would be classified as a 2D game as you could only click on whatever was on the screen at the time. I also remember the inside of the house being almost like a haunted murder scene or at least remind you of that. Any help remembering the name of this game would be appreciated.
