While the virtual console idea is all well and good I will be damned before I buy a game I already own just so I can play it on my Ps3. I guess I'll just have to keep waiting or buy a second hand machine.

Do you have a link for that? anything?? I've been waiting for almost 3 weeks now to buy a PS3 and it doesn't look like the SKU will be announced at GDC this year. (I want one w/ BC I sold off my PS2 for cash to buy a PS3 the day bestbuy took em out of their stores! Grr talk about bad timing!)
Sony needs to make up its mind, first the 20GB got cancelled then the 60GB then released the 80GB and now the 40 GB Sony needs to make more games than consoles, if they knew it will be cheaper they should have done it from the beginning.

I agree everytime I get ready to buy a PS3 some announcement makes me hold off...of course if the R&C bundle sees the light of day I'll be first in line.
Just like every other review it's someone's opinion (although in this case it's someone who wants to play it :) ). If you like the game go get it! Don't let some jaded game reviewer ruin your fun. You're the one who paid 500 dollars (or pounds euros yen whatever) for a machine, therefore you can play whatever you like on it.
I did the math and it should be7.7 on ign, i dunno why it is 7.0 .7 is a difference for me

how can 7 be right if it was 7 two 6 = togather = 2 points from 7 1 point for each 6 then you got 2 9's which is total 4 points to 7 then 8.5 1.5 away from 2 to 5.5 points how is 7 in the middle or rounded off. i now confusing but im trying to type what im trying to say. sorry.
Someone already pointed this out so I don't know why I have to repeat them. IGN does not average their scores, in other words they don't add the point values up. It says so right underneath the final score.
Welcome to the uncanny valley. They are just video games, if you don't like them refuse to support them until they produce something up to your "standards."
