I'd hardly call it fair to compare the PC to the consoles. The price point isn't the same, nor is the ease of use. You can compare an Aston Martin to a Honda Civic all day, and the Aston Martin will look better, perform better, and generally win on paper. However, it's much more expensive and complicated than the Civic -- the same with the PC and the consoles. They're barely in the same category. However, where "gameplay" is concerned -- if you really want to, just plug a 360 controller, or any PC controller into your PC. You don't have to use the keyboard and mouse. Many games are shared between the consoles and the PC, as this article shows. PC gamers may not get Halo 3 or MGS4. But we do get good strategy games, and I think that's more than a fair trade. In short, the big difference between the PC and the consoles is price and performance, in the sort of price-quality relationship one would expect of any other product. If we're comparing 360 and PS3, that's fair enough, but the PC doesn't quite fit into the same category.
