My PS3

It's been a loooooong time since i last bough a console. The last one i bought was my Xbox and 2 years ago my PSP; i've unfortunately spent lots of money on my video games, so i decided to quit on gaming. I am a huge fan of movies, and a not-so-long-ago series of events have been happening way too fast and they are way too good. First of all, my mother decided i should get a t.v. cuz when i had one, it was like 3 or 4 years ago... since then, the only electronic devices in my room are my lap, printer, etc... So i said... why should i get a new t.v? i'd rather have a blue-ray, so i could start buying new movies in this format and keeping my old dvd movies well taken care of; cuz when dvds outran VHSs, my small collection disappeared. And my father frankly send me to hell XD. The next week, i turned on the t.v. and.... surprise!! an enormous back square appeared out of nowhere and made watching t.v. pretty impossible... So the next day we started searching for a new "economic" LCD television... which ended in buying that very same day a 48" Sony Bravia Full HD with 4 HDMI inputs, digital audio out, ethernet connection, gadgets, component inputs, etc. That made my life waaaay happier :) .... but something was weird. As i started watching my favorite movies in my old dusty dvd... i realize that the image is expanded and pixelated which really annoys me ¬¬ so we set off again shopping, now searching for a component wire in order to obtain a better image. So i set up EVERY single wire, and every setting to improve my tv's and dvd's performance to the maximum... I was very happy by that time!!! what else should i need? (electronically) A day or two after that, i made a joke to my father, i told him i wanted the same blue-ray i asked for before, to complement the magnificent television :) and he told me this out of nowhere: "if you find a PS3 under $5000 (pesos mx), i'll buy it 4 ya." Two weeks ago, that was totally impossible, not even reachable in my greatest dreams. So here i am now, opening a gamespot profile and setting up (again) everything for my enormous contribution to my house's electronics: tomorrow, my whole new in-box (and equipped with the blue-ray remote controller) PS3 arrives home. Be prepared everyone, boizo is one step nearer every second, thanks to PlaystationNetwork.... beware... Videogames: I AM EFFING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
