Well, just woke up an hour ago and though to start the roster. As I said yesterday, I'll begin with Best Male Character. This may include: heroes, anti heroes, secondary characters and villians. Well, this is the runner up.

THE RUNNER UP ISSSS...

Miles Edgeworth, from the Ace Attorney series

One May consider Egdeworth an anti hero or a hero. Well, he is the main protagonist of his main game but still. His character has two things I that make him so memorable: his cocky attitude around Phoenix Wright and his will of always helping him. His backstory was incresingly explored in the series, and it just became more complex and interesting, from the death of his father and his decision to become a prosecutor to his mentoring by the crazed Manfred von Karma. A deep and interesting character, he is also someone you could regonize with, since his decisions are ones any human being could have, regarding what happend in his past.

Why he is not the 1st: While he is a very interesting and likeable character, quite often in the games he acts a bit too cold hearted, and not shows much emotion. Again, this is explained by his backstory, but makes him look like a jerk at times.

AND THE NUMBER ONE ISSSS...

A tie between:and

Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series Phoenix Wright from the Ace Attorney series

Considering the games this two characters were in they have the perfect personality and characteristics I think are necessary: realism. Both Nate and Nick are everyday man, in the sense that they guys anyone could regonize with.

Phoenix is a lawyer, and shows a lot of determination in his works, specially when he has to save the ones that he loves. Drake is an explorer, determined to get the tresures and uncover the secrets, regardless of anyone who is trying to stop him.

Phoenix, being a lawyer, you would think he is a boring characters, but he is funny, gentle, strong witted and determined. He is someone you would really like to be your lawyer if you were in a tight spot. He is also someone you can belive, someone you can really see acting like that.

Drake on the other hand is a bit far fetched, as hardly anyone would do what he did in his games, but he is overall just a very likeable character. He at times is a jerk, and at times very carrying. On the course of the first game, his personality is distingishiable, but at the same time one that you can see a real person there. Considering the context of the game, this fits perfectly, and goes on a very memorable character.

This is a tie because I seriously couldn't choose between the two. They are similar yet very different, but undeniably, are my favourite male characters from video games.

PS: Neither Link from LoZ or Solid Snake are here because I haven't played any game from those franchises to completion, but even then I just don't really relate to those characters, neither find them terribly interesting. Please leave a coment with what your favourites are.
