This has been bothering me for some time now.
Queen Serenity from Sailor Moon.
Queen Serenity was supposed to be a strong leader. She was the ruler of the Silver Millenium (1000 years of peace), but she was rather weak in the fighting department. She wasn't successful at killing any of the big bads the entire time. Out of the half dozen or so big bads in the Sailor Moon series and moives, 3 of them had come back to earth after being banished or sealed by Queen Serenity.
Beryl. Sealed away by the Queen. Broke free and it took Princess Serenity and the Inner Senshi to destroy her.
Ice Queen. (S Movie). Banished by Queen Serenity by the light of the ginzuisho. Came back and it took Super Sailor Moon and the senshi to destroy her.
Neherenia. Sealed by Queen Serenity into the mirror. Came back, 1st time. And was defeated by Super Sailor Moon, Super Sailor Chibi-Moon and the golden crystal. 2nd time, the power of the 8 senshi created Eternal Sailor Moon. That took care of her.
Now, Queen Serenity had all these senshi and crystals at her command! She had a thousand years experience over Sailor Moon.
Why couldn't she do it?

Dawn Verse Conner
by bones0123 on Comments
In this blog post I will discuss the reasons why Conner was a better character than Dawn.
Dawn V. Conner battle of the plot device character!
Let's just start with their introduction. Dawn was just introduced as a sister to Buffy, as if she were always there. While Conner was born and returned aged after several weeks in a hell dimension. Much more believable as a character.
Attitude towards their respective titular character! Dawn in season 5 and 6 (even after she finds out she serves a higher purpose) is whiny and annoying and treats Buffy like it is always Buffy's fault. While Conner tried to kill Angel for most of season 3 and some of 4, he has reasons to believe that Angel is at fault for everything that goes wrong.
Actor: Although Michelle is a better actor then Vinc (being able to show more emotions and more natural reactions), Vinc does not get screechy and annoying when he doesn't get his way as Conner.
Finally. Conner was removed after he was no longer needed. Dawn should have died at the end of 5.
Hope you enjoyed my rant.

My Review of Firefly
by bones0123 on Comments
A while back I tried to post this review on the Firefly page, but it was removed because it was "Flaming." I don't understand why, I just told my opinions of one of my favorite shows.
"Joss Whedon has out did himself again. Toy Story, Buffy, Angel, has this man done anything badly? Firefly is a great space opera about a rag tag crew of patches that steal, lie and kill to get the job done. Acting is great, Joss and Mutan Enemy have perfected their casting.
Joss does have some trouble writing for men, although nothing beats the scene between Mal and Wash being tortured. His women characters (Buffy, River, Zoe) are strong and most realistic. While his men, realistic as they are, could be stronger. That being said, they were all real and believable.
The show itself has quickly become one of my favorites. The characters are fun. You need to take some of the story at face value, for sometimes they are a little out there, but it is a Sci-Fi so you know what you are getting yourself into.
The costumes, sets and props are great! (Better in the movie!)
The series just ends though, and too much is left open, and even the movie doesn't answer all my questions.
I recommend this show to everyone!"
I do say that Joss has trouble writing for guys, but I don't bash or attack Joss, and I make sure to add positives for every negative I say.
Why do you think this was removed?

Buffy - 1.5 Never Kill A Boy...
by bones0123 on Comments
So I'm watching Never Kill A Boy and there's a blonde woman in the background that keeps walking back and forth, in different shots. First she's behind Buffy, then behind Owen (when Buffy is dumping him)
