I've always been the type who spends way too much money on games , and I've never really had any close friends that were as interested in the industry as I was. It's never uncommon during a visit to the bar with some friends of mine to have a couple "So, what new games are coming out that look cool?" questions thrown my way. Despite having plenty of games in my collection that are accepted by the masses, my list is for those that might make other gaming ethusiasts a wee bit jealous. Here goes: 1. (PC) - With between 6 and 7 million subscribers when last Blizzard posted figures, owning World of Wacraft definitely doesn't make you stand out. Instead, I picked this game because the accomplishments of your character just might. Multiple times in the past year and a half have I run into someone in public and engaged in a World of Warcraft discussion, where all parties involved must attempt to 1-up the competitio in terms of who is the most "uber." You can't help but feel like a super geek when you're WoW character is wearing all purple items. I've decided to use it as the basis for my pick-up lines from now on, too. Sure, I may receive countless stares and be called a loser repeatedly, but I'll know I've found the woman I'll marry when a girl finally nods when told that "My guild kills Nefarion on a weekly basis, will you go home with me?"
