Being gross to nature

Saving the future for them. It is totally unfair how we are using and abusing nature. We don't care using up all the natural resources in our hands and destroying whatever ecosystems it takes to seek for our own good

When I was a child, we had this subject at school which was called "Nature". It was one of my favourites, we learned about the world, the cultures, the animals, the plants... Now my nephews have the same subject, only that they learn about some species that have become extinct, how to preserve and protect those at risk and how to help maintaining those left.

How sad is it? :(

Calvin and Hobbes is propriety of Bill Watterson and Universal Press Syndicate.

Here it is, Calvin being a sweetie to Susie. This is the beginning of a long and problematic "love-hate" relationship between both kids. I don't know why, but boys have this tendency to be totally gross to piss girls off. And sometimes, they like to be gross just because it is fun.

I am the only girl in my dad's side of the family, so when the family joined for any kind of celebration, I was totally left alone. My bro and my cousins used to entertain themselves burning snails, depriving flies of their wings, doing all kind of disgusting mixtures with the food leftovers and so on :?

I was just cuddled by all my aunties, who loved to tie once and again those annoying ribbons that my mum used to make me wear. That wasn't any fun either
.Such a tough childhood, huh?

These are my cousin Chuchin and my bro, in a wedding. See their knees? They had been searching for snails. See those little boxes in their hands? Those are matches boxes. Guess the rest of the story :?

These pics are for Stacey, a little bit of my mum for her :)

This is my mum, when she was 3.

This is me, same age. Wow, right? We did look alike quite a lot, don't we?

This si pissy me, the pic which was in my profile for a while. I was years old. At present, I look nothing like my mum, I look totally like my dad. How weird is that?

On the personal note, I didn't go watch "The X men" yesterday night. Kewlz told me that there were some cuties involved, but bf worked the afternoon shift and our timing was a bit too tight to arrive on time. Today they are playing "Superman the Return" in which I'm not interested. As I was afraid, today I totally slept in. I hardly catch any decent zzzz time during work days, so I sleep most of my Saturday mornings. Meaning that I didn't go take some pics of the festivals in my neighbourhood but I'll do that tomorrow, I hope. I finally had my wifi aka wireless broadband internet set up. This cutie showed up yesterday after lunch and only needed like 10 minutes to arrange everything. So cool that my beloved portable was finally put into good use. Yay! However, it is taking me ages to get used to it (I totally miss my mouse) but well, here we are, getting to know each other :D
