Of wild flowers and denial

Today's one is cute, isn't it?. When I was a kid, we used to play to the prairies and I always brought my mum a bunch of wild flowers. There were this beautiful little blue bellflowers that I loved, and also the daisies. And there were these other yellow ones that I'm afraid my mum disliked a lot because she always told me that if I cut any of those yellow ones, I would pee in bed  And then there were these red ones, with tiny petals, that my mum said that tasted like wine. I used to eat one of the petals and agree that they tasted like wine. As if I knew then how wine tasted. My mum cracked up

So, the thing was that, not to forget, first of all I used to cut all this beautiful flowers and then I played with my friends. That, and the fact that I always needed my hands to play with the small lizards and the ladybirds, to hold my dog's lead, to bring back home some toys... made the flowers end up in my pocket. Well, sorta, because I just shoved inside the stems so the petal won't ruin

And by the time I arrived home, I'm rather sure that my bunch wasn't all that pretty, but my mom received it with her brightest smile. And it made me soooo happy to see her hapy, that I kept on carrying her bunches all the time. She kept them in a jar with water, and all of a sudden they just disappeared. According to my mum, they just dried off. So I thought that when flowers dried they vanished:lol:

Did you bring flowers to your mum when you were kids? :)

Calvin and Hobbes are propriety of Bill Watterson and Universal Press Syndicate.

Again, the new girl inc-lass. Calvin totally denies that he likes her, which is an attitude that I've seen a lot of times in kids and grown ups. People tend to deny to obvious, to mock what they wish. I remember when my friends used to talk like too much about this certain guy who was this and that and nothing good, and I was like "yeah right, you just like him too badly". Which was true the majority of the cases :D

I've never done that. I was pretty straight away and told whom I liked. Never beat around the bush. And then never dared to do anything about it, but hey, I'm a prude. So my friends ended up dating those guys they pretended to despise, and I was still miles away to even talk with my crushes. Always daydreaming. Well, not always

On the personal note, I loved all your comments regarding "V for Vendetta". Now anyone please can tell me wtf happens? Kidding. I was really enjoying the movie, but all of sudden I got lost (not such a big thing, I still can't tell when Arnold Schwarzenegger is dreaming and when he is not in "Total Recall" ). Well, I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but when she is cut her hair (you know, that part) I was lost. I don't understand that bit. But whatever, it was just ok. I loved the "Benny Hill" bit, that was hilarious. And I loved when she woke up at his places surrounded by tons of books :shock:Paradise to me. How beautiful is Natalie Portman? Today they show "The X Men". I think it's the 2nd part of something *shrugs*I dunno who the X Men are, go figure. Yeah, I'm terrible at films too. If we go, I'll tell you what I think of it :)

After some home improvement and before the movies, I went for a walk to my quarter fiestas. There was nothing big going on at that moment, so I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow. There is these couple of things I would love to show you. Cross my fingers that tomorrow I get up before lunch :P
