Borrowing his clothes? Pfffft, of course. All the time, especially to sleep:D How wouldn't I? They smell like him, too tempting. I love the fact that I can borrow 99% of his clothes and he can't borrow most of mine. Ur...hmmm, well, I have actually borrowed 100% of his stuff  What? Boxer briefs are not that different from those hot short tight Brazilian panties, only looser in the front. Ahahahahaha, well, I didn't go out with them on, just in case you are wondering. And he always plays he is bothered, but down deep he loves it :)

Calvin and Hobbes is propriety of Bill Watterson and Universal Press Syndicate.

Redheads, green eyes and long whiskers? ROTFLMAO! Hobbes so rocks. Happy to know I don't fit in his profile, just in case :P Tastes are as varied as people, and luckily enough, love is blind. Plus it's the inside which counts because in the end, flesh wrinkles but heart does not :)

On the personal note, yesterday I went to this wedding and totally had a blast (yes Matt, alcohol surely helped, at least at the beginning. When I got loose, I don't give a damn about anything. Like Pringles, once I pop I can't stop. LMAO) Funny thing is that I would have killed not to attend it, and I ended up having loads of fun. Sometimes, we are truly surprised when we least expect it. I have like 300 hundred pictures to download and properly arrange, so I'll tell you all about it tomorrow :)

I'll end up with Penny's visit today. It was short but intense. We did loads of things, especially on Friday and Saturday, because she told me that she wanted to visit the Guggenheim Museum and we scheduled it to be done on Sunday. And lucky us, because it was raining cats and dogs. It's one hour ride from San Sebastian to Bilbao. We got a bit lost, because we reached the city centre by a road I wasn't familiar with. The Guggenheim museum is set in front of Deusto University. I had to attend that University for one year because half of my College career was taught in San Sebastian and the other half in Bilbao. But waking up at 05'00 am each morning, wasn't nice, so I decided to end my studies in Ireland, which was the bestest decision ever. Ok, so I perfectly knew how to reach the Museum, but due to summer festivities some streets were closed and we took a different road and we got lost :(

On our ramblings, we stopped at this traffic lights by a cafeteria. They were a couple of Basque Police patrols parked nearby, so we assumed that there was some politician having breakfast in that cafeteria. Politicians with bodyguards is the most common thing here, this is the Basque Country, remember? We also noticed that there was also a car with two strong guys inside parked nearby, and we immediately knew that they were undercover bodyguards, part of the bodyguards team. Well, whatever, we carried on with our Museum search. It was early in the morning, it was raining cats and dogs and there was no one in the streets, so we had to drive around for a while :?

Funny thing was that we made this turn and found the whole bodyguards escort riding in front of us. We followed them for a short while, because they were heading towards the river, which was the place we should go to. But it isn't safe to ride after them, because if they happen to be a target, your arse can be blown up just like that, so we tried and took an alternative route to the river. Apparently, they got suspicious and all the cars of the escort took different ways. We took ours, which happened to be the same one that the undercover took. Just great. Maybe this all sounds like sci-fi to you, but terrorism thing is huge in here. And young people in a car following patrol cars (not to mention uncdercover cars) is highly unusual. So they took the way towards their headquartes, which happened to be just in front of the Museum. LMAO. Yep, they totally guided us. I bet they wanted to ask us for our id's and stuff but as soon as we parked our car, stepped out and started to get pictures taken with the Museum in the background, they were like

Little anecdote apart, here are some pics of the Museum:

First two are taken from the internet, so you can see it in a bright day.

So we crossed the river, and reached to the right shore. This is Deusto University from the Museum:

We had to take these stairs to reach the main entrance

We picked up the audioguides and started the tour

Hmmm, ok, I've never been a fan of Modern Art because I don't get it. I don't mean to offend anyone here (surely not at all my intention), but something that can be made by anyone has no value for me as a masterpiece. Like this Anselm Kiefer guy. One of his pieces were just some blocks of concrete scattered on the ground. According to him, it mean this and that and bla and bla. Alright, whatever. It's the same to me if he'd say it meant exactly the contrary. For me, they were just blocks of concrete scattered on the ground. So his exhibition was just bleh :?

But then we reached Durero (Dürer). I was totally excited to watch his old prints. His attention to detail was absolutely amazing. He made totally worth the visit :D

We spent 4 hours at the Museum, so we took further pictures of the titanium building (which is really beautiful both in the outside and in the inside) and then looked for a place to have lunch.

On our way back home, we made a quick stop at Zarauz, which is a really beautiful in the coast but it was so windy, that we hardly had the chance to pop our noses in the promenade and we run back to the car. Once at home we took a nap and since it had stopped raining, we got ready to go to the fireworks, again by bike. My mum made this omelette sandwiches and we had our dinner watching the fireworks :)

When the fireworks ended, it started raining cats and dogs again. We brought raincoats and stuff, but still it pouring rain so we sheltered for some 20 minutes, and then headed to the bikes. We were lucky it didn't rain in our drive back home. By the way, Saturday's fireworks won the competition :)

Next day, on Monday, we drove Penny to Hendaye's train station in France. When she was getting her ticket, she was informed that there was a cheaper train right about leaving for her destiny, so she took advantage of it and left in a hurry. It was a quick goodbye but I will never forget those 3 days we spent together. It was a great experience and a lot of fun meeting a tv.commer. So here you have me, waiting for all of you with open arms.

Andwhen I arrived home I have a parcel in my letterbox from Penny's mum. She sent me a huge Irish flag, which now decorates my window. It was a sweet detail. I got tons of irish things decorating my bedroom, above them a small irish flag. Penny found it funny and told her mum, who sent me this gorgeous one. Doesn't it rock? :D
