Time, scars, beermats and facials

Thinking of him round the clock, that's pretty much being in love. Like when you have a crush on someone, and you wonder why didn't he show up in the disco, in the bus, at c-lass or wherever you usually meet together.

Then when you start dating someone, and you only want to be with that person. Why didn't he call yet? Why is he taking so long to ask me out? Is it weekend yet?

And finally, when you are in a relationship, you just know where he is all the time: working, having a beer with friends, playing sports...whatever. First and last thing in your mind everyday. Gah, such is love :)

Pretty much like me, actually. At school, we used to play to jump out of the swing, and we made a little mark with chalk and put our name on it, so the one who landed the furthest won. We actually didn't win anything, but the pride of being the most tomboy between the tomboys, I guess. So we a took a great impulse and jump. It worked for most of the times, but when it didn't, it was a great display of chaos, blood and tears.

So I jumped too early or too late, and landed in the trajectory of the swing, so I didn't have the chance to stand up before the swing came back and hit me in the head. It was an iron swing, with the shape of chair, heavy as hell. So it hit me really hard, so hard that my head was numb. What did I do? Join the line to give it another try :)

It wasn't until the break keeper came running and waving at me with a panic face that I realized that something was wrong. Appart from our uniform, which was navy blue, we had to wear this school dressing coat for the uniform not to get dirty, I guess. So she took my dressing coat off, and I noticed the huge blood stain at its back. She pressed it towards my head and from that point onwards, the obvious. Ambulance, hospital, stitches. I didn't cry because it didn't hurt at all, but I was pretty scared at the sight of my own blood :?

Now I have a big scar in my head, not noticeable because of the hair. It itches like hell when the weather changes, but apart from that, I feel like it has been there forever. I was 6 years old at the time, go figure. But you know what pissed me the most? That the doctor had to cut this big lock of hair to give me the stitches. I cried like mad. My hairdo all ruined

Any scar in your lives, guys?

In the personal note, today is much cooler than yesterday, some 30C aka 86F, so I will go to the fiestas in a while to take some pics for you. Yesterday I was chatting with Toni (2 days in a row, whoa huh?) and she found this funny, so I'll share with you. My mum recently bought this doormat with the shape of a cat. My neighbours upstairs have a 3 year old boy who fell in love with it. He named it MICHI (which is some of those weird slang words we use with kids, this one to refer to a cat) and he always takes it for a walk, much to his parents distress. If he is not allowed to, he throws such tantrums, that he always has his way. So there he goes, doormat in his hands, walking around until their parents take the car out of the garage. Toni thought that it was funny. I promised her to get a picture of it. If it is not, you know who to blame

This is the doormat, aka Michi

And then I chatted to Jenn (Welcome back dearest, you were much missed) and aflter singing together our favourite song "Oceans apart, day after day, and I slowly go insane..." LMAO, we ended up talking about facials  so I just remembered that the other day I got this simple of snail's extract. It is supposed to be really good for skin, leaving it smooth and stuff, apart from having healing powers for little cuts, bruises and so. She never heard of it and found it totally gross and weird, so I promised her to get her a picture of it. It's pretty expensive, gotta tell you. Still haven't tried it on. If it is gross, I'll blame Jenn. I think we'd both stick to our usual facials, nothing like natural extracts LMFAO

The infamous snail's extract sample.

Alright, off I go to the fiestas!!! :D
