The .hack game series

the guys at the local gamestop told me not to give up on the .hack series, despite its poor reviews. they said it was really good, and that i'd probably like it.

lol, if it comes down in price as a used copy, i'll like it even more!

The Hardest Thing about Playing KOTOR

The hardest thing about playing Bioware's "Knights of the Old Republic" is having to decide if I'm going to be a "Good" guy or a "Bad" guy.

I tried playing a "Bad guy" at first, even though that's not usually how I like to play. (I never played any of the Baldur's Gate games that way.) But playing a bad guy? You have to *KILL* just about every single person you MEET. And that makes for a slow, strange game. Certainly not as fun. ~ Even though the Sith soldiers were afraid of me, which was cool. I don't think I can play the entire game that way. And I want to. :) ~ lol ~ A dear friend told me it'd be good for me to play a bad guy.

Silent Hill and Yoshi's Story

What is it about Silent Hill that makes it so fascinating? Is it the textures?

...I think it's the story. Because otherwise it's disgusting. I don't even play other Horror-Survival games.

Of course Vincent is a hottie...

I love the music, too.

I also love the music and art in Yoshi's Story. People gave it a bad review but it's just not doing the game justice.

It's totally cute!! The kind of game people can play for other people, to show them how cute it is.

The "Grand Theft Auto" thing...

I could never get into 'Grand Theft Auto'. I don't care how many awards it's been winning. And it's not because of the "Rape" thing that I've heard about or the "Drugs" thing or even the "Stealing...I guess, Cars?" thing; although why anyone would seek to do such things, even in a video game, is a little scarey as it represents what is popular to most folks these days... (This is not up for debate.)

No, for me, I would ask, "Why would I want to do something that I could do for free in real life anyway??" ~ There's nothing fantastic about any of it. No UFO's? No monsters? What's the point?
