I am a little disappointed with Gamespot's coverage of Mac games, as there are several offerings unique to the platform. I think I will feature a few of them here every week or two.

Ambrosia Software is one of the best game designers/publishers for Macs. While they have received some attention for their cross-platform masterpiece, Escape Velocity Nova , it seems that some of their newer games (as well as some of their older games) have yet to reach as wide an audience. While they seem to be pushing their racing game, Redline quite a bit, I have seen almost no advertising for SketchFighter 4000 alpha.

As far as I can tell, SketchFighter is unique in terms of its graphics presentation:

those super-cool space ships you doodled on graph paper in Middle
School? Pen strokes furiously waging massive intergalactic battles in
History ****with the fate of humanity hanging in the balance? Well
they have sprung to life in SketchFighter 4000 Alpha!"

I'll be adding a more detailed review of its gameplay pretty soon...until then, if there are any mac gamers on this board, I'd love to hear about your favorite Apple-centric games...if there are enough of us, perhaps a union is in order?
